Webster defines uncle as the brother of one's father or mother or the husband of one's aunt.
My definition of ones(my) uncle is angelic wise man. My uncle was all of that and more.
He wasn't very tall in stature.
He was larger than life in stature.
He drove the coolest cars.
He knew all about sports and a lot of other things.
He could make you laugh.... Man could he make you laugh. Even at your own self.
He had a heart that was as big as all outdoors.
Some people called him Sonny. Others kidded by calling him killer. To me, he is Uncle Forrest.
Uncle Forrest was a real man. A lot of people thought that he and my Dad were brothers. They were really very close from childhood.
A lot of people thought that he and my Dad were brothers. Because they were so close.
Actually he married my Dad's sister. Uncle Forrest last name was also Brown.
Uncle Forrest really loved family. Especially my Aunt Dorothy. She was his girl and his world.
He knew just how to keep her happy. Whatever she said was the law by his rules.
I miss my Uncle so much... But to make sure that I'll never forget him and what he meant to me, I carry him in a special place in my heart. This way I will never have to be without him.
