Jackie's POV
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As I sat on the cold, hard chair in the doctors office, I let my thoughts run wild. I shouldn't have drank what Liam had given me. It had messed me up, I wasn't thinking straight. I couldn't focus. And, that's why Zayn had gotten to me.
I was alone, vulnerable. Jasmine had left with Louis after dancing for a while, and I was happy for her, knowing her feelings for him. And, his for her. I just wanted to lay down, and Zayn had taken me to one of the rooms in Luke's house. I hadn't seen Luke much that night either. Or, Brittney. It was almost like...
Like it was planned.
I hadn't been myself, and for whatever reason, it hurt when I saw Harry in bed with Nadine. That was bothering me so much. He'd been so terrible to me, yet I felt something break when he kissed her in front of me. And, then seeing them about to fuck. It all got to me.
After Jasmine had found out about Ashton, Louis had given her a few 'Safe Drinks'. They had alcohol, but these were the drinks locked up in Luke's cabinets that he only let his close friends know about. I'd been offered a few, but declined. I know now, that I shouldn't have.
And, now here I sat, in the doctors office, with Jasmine, Louis and Brittney by my side, waiting for my pain meds. Jasmine had called Brittney after they saw me at Luke's house, bruises scattered all over my pale skin. They were all worried. I couldn't blame them.
"Jacqlyne Mongomery." The lady at the front desk had called. Before I could get up, Jasmine was already at the desk, retrieving my medicine. It hurt to walk. But, I didn't want to admit to myself what Zayn had done. He hadn't gotten too far, but he'd gotten far enough.
Jasmine walked back over to me with a sad smile planted on her pink lips. I mustered up a small smile back, but it fell as soon as Jasmine's did. She knew what I was going through. Nobody but her. Maybe that was why I couldn't look her in her baby blue eyes, and tell her exactly what had happened last night. Because, it would hurt her more than it hurts me, and she's dealt with enough pain.
Louis stood and smiled, "We ready to go?" As, he wrapped an arm around Jasmine's shoulders. Brittney stood as well, showing us a bright smile, despite the harm Justin had caused last night. She says she didn't care, but I knew that was a lie. I just didn't push it.
"Yeah," she said, "let's go."
She began walking out, walking past groups of people until she was no longer in sight.
I sighed.
She was hurting too, as we all were, and we had nobody to help. Jasmine, she had Louis. Brittney had Jasmine. And, me? I felt the burden of being one to cause her harm, non-intentionally, but still.
As, I turned the corner, I bumped into the one who had saved me the previous night.
"Jackie?" He had asked.
"Harry."
RandomI don't know why I fell for him. He'd made my life a living hell since we were 7th graders. Maybe it was the way he ran his large hands through his curly brown hair. Or, maybe it was how his eyes seemed to shine as bright as the stars when his smile...
