Percy Jackson: Betrayed and Bitten

The War Part 2

Percy P.O.V.

One hour until Tartarus would rise. I hoped he would be easier than Gaea. Everyone was rushing around the Camp, getting armor, sharping swords, and talking about war strategies. Athena Cabin was working with the Hephaestus Cabin, making some traps that I had to admit were pretty cool. Ares Cabin were having some sort of pep rally, I guess they love war though. Apollo Cabin were practicing shooting their bows along with the Hunters. The Gods would be arriving soon. After the war, if that magic broke, I would reveal myself to everyone. Hecate Cabin were working with the Mist. As I walked around Camp, I had a better feeling about this war. We hadn't heard of Eric for a week now.

I walked back to the Artemis Cabin and saw Zoe sharpening her arrow heads. "Hey Zoe, ready for the war?" I asked, sitting next to her. "Hey Shadow, yeah, it's just that right when I come back home it's ANOTHER war." she said. "I know how you feel, right after the war with Kronos it was like BOOM war again." I said. She nodded and continued sharpening arrow heads. "Where's Artemis?" I asked. "She's in her tent, she said she needed to speak with you." she said. "Ok, see you soon." I said. "Ok, bye." she said and I walked to Artemis's tent.

I scratched the tent with my paw. "Come in, Shadow." Artemis said. I walked in and saw her sitting down making a bow. "I heard you needed to speak to me?" I said, sitting down across from her. She looked up from the bow. "Yes, Percy, I've been thinking and if the magic breaks, you know, Eric's magic making everyone betray you." she said, and I nodded, she continued. "Would you still travel with the Hunt or would you return to Camp?" she asked. I thought for a moment. If they still hated me I would go with them, but if they were truly just under magic, would I stay or go? "Well, maybe I could go with you guys sometimes, and stay at Camp at other times." I said. "Well, if that happens, I could give you the ability to teleport, so you could come whenever you'd like." she said. "I'd appreciate that." I said and I felt a silver glow surround me. "You are able to teleport now." she said. "Anyways, I want you to have this." she said holding out the bow to me. "I can't shoot, you know that." I said, rejecting the bow. "Yes you can, since you are in the Hunt, you have the ability to shoot like a pro, you'll be fine." she said, and I took the bow. "Thanks." I said examining the bow, it fit my hand and everything perfectly. "We need to go, the Gods will be arriving any minute, and the war will start." she said and we exited the tent.

The Gods came a few minutes after. Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, Hera, Athena, Ares, Apollo, Dionysus, Demeter, Persephone, Hecate, Aphrodite, Hermes, and Hephaestus were there along with some other minor gods. Good, we had a good show up. I looked at my father. He still didn't know who I was yet. I promised myself if the magic broke I would reveal myself. We got ready. In front were: The Gods, the Hunters, Athena, Ares, and Hephaestus Cabins, followed my the other Campers in the second line, along with the Romans. I stood in front in wolf form, between Artemis and Zoe. "Ready?" I asked. The Hunters nodded. We were prepared.

The ground shook, and a loud shaking filled the ground. Tartarus was here, and I was ready.

Sorry for that cliff-hanger. Next chapter will be out very soon! I'm so excited to write this. There will be about 3 or 4 more chapters. But hey, 2 updates in 2 days, I'm proud of myself. Anyways, what do you guys think? Comment! Vote! Follow! Thanks for reading.
