Silvere gazed at Kurayami, a faint, sympathetic smile on her face.
Kurayami stared back, a wistful, longing expression on her face.
"It was your only home, huh?" Silvere murmured softly.
"Yeah... And I'm going to miss it. It was the only home I've ever had... And ever will have."
"There is always a place we call home in our hearts, whether we know it or not."
Kurayami nearly scoffed.
"I doubt it. But you're too stubborn to argue with."
"Darn right. You're a smart one," Silvere teased.
Kurayami glared jokingly at her one of her only friends, in a long time.
And the two cats slunk off into their respective dens.
