JJ's P.O.V.
We walked in the front gates of the ranch. "Come on, I'll take to the house!" I said basically bursting with excitement. I knew Dakota wasn't my real mom. I looked nothing like her. My eyes were green, hers were blue I had red hair, she had black. I knew she wasn't my mom, but I didn't who was. Until she came for me. I don't know why Dakota still acted like my mother. She wasn't.

Sammy was my best friend. She had black and white hair. Not naturally of corse, she dyed it. We still had hair dye, even after 20 years. A lot of other teenagers in the group dyed their hair. Onix, Kayla, Sammy, and Mackenzie. Okay, maybe not a lot, just four. We walked into the main house. Sammy was sitting on my bed, waiting for me. "JJ! Where in fuck's sake were you? I thought you died." She said getting her large white mass of hair in my face. "I'm fine Sammy," I said spitting out her hair, "this is my mom." I said as Jess stepped into my room. "Woah, so that's where you get your odd red hair from. Not miss stick-up-her-ass after all." Sammy said pulling her hair back and putting it into matching pigtails. "Anyways, it's been a long and tiering day, I think I'm going to grab some shut eye. Night mom." I said to Jess as she handed me new clothes and walked out. "Goodnight, love you." Love you too
