Chapter 2

His voice sounded as if it was from the devil himself.

I, Melissa who is a werewolf is afraid of a Vampire.

I was afraid because that was my first time seen one and I challenged myself into something that I've never tried to do.

"I may be a Vampire which you bitches take as slaves but I have to tell you. I don't like people staring at me. Especially werewolf."
I tried taking my eyes off of him but I was really attracted to him and I couldn't hide it.
I was scared true but I couldn't stop looking.

There was moment he punched a tree and yelled.

"STOP LOOKING AT ME." He got out of the sunlight which caused his eyes to turn red.

"I-I'm sorry. I-I-I you look really attractive."

He looked at me for a second. I can't see if he's mad or confused.
A smell that smells really really good filled my nose.
I sniff the air taking a big scent of that beautiful smell.

He's expression changed. He became angry again.

I followed the smell and close my eyes to feel the wonderful scent all around my nose, then my nose poke something hard and cold.

I open my eyes to see a surprise looking vampire but his expression changed again into anger and I again became scared.

"Get your dirty smelly nose off of me! And what the fuck are you doing?"

"Y-y-you smell good."

His expression changed again. Then he went back on being mad.

"That's impossible. You can never smell a Vampire."

"But my nose lead me to the scent and it's coming from you."

"Impossible."

I wanted to sniff him one more time. I can't just let him go like that. I need one tiny bit of smell of him.

"STOP SNIFFING ME DAMN!"

"Sorry."

I was scared of what he could do to me. Especially drinking my blood.

'You're stubborn and a coward.'

'You that I can't fight him. He's a Vampire for God's sake.'

'Coward, Coward, Coward, stubborn-'

I'm ok fine I'll fight him.'

As he was about to go run off I quickly jumped on his back and bit his left shoulder.
A hiss came out of his mouth.
A dangerous hiss.
He got a hold of me and flipped me on the ground hard.
A bullet full on pains ran through my back.
It hurts so much that I couldn't let my cries out.
I kept on moving left to right trying to take away the pain but that made it worst instead.

"Don't try anything stupid next time or I'll rip you're jaw open."

I didn't want to listen to him. I can't let him go. I have to in this fight.
I held on to his leg as he tries to kick it away.

"I won't let you go. I have to win this."

"What the fuck are you talking about. Let go of me."

I kept on holding onto him as he tries to move.
I couldn't let go because of his scent.
Its different.
I can't believe that I'm saying this but he smells better than my mate.

I felt a cold strong arm picking me up pulling me over their shoulder.

"W-where are you taking me."

"Well since you want to hold on to me then I'll just bring you where ever I go."

I didn't say anything as he's carrying me.
I just shut my mouth an allowed him to lead me.

I closed my eyes feeling the cold arms around my legs. Feeling his the blood rushing through him.
I'm always wondering how come vampires have blood in them but their body are cold.

Just as I was about to ask that question, I couldn't feel the cold arms around my legs anymore. Instead, I feel the wind around me. Surrounding every parent of me.
I open my eyes to see nothing but a hill and behind me is the water.

'Next time you should stop daydreaming and focus on what the chief would reward us.'

I can see and fee that my wolf was angry.
She wasn't a nice person but she wasn't a bad person also.
If she doesn't get what she or we want then, she'll go Crazy. Only her mate can calm her down.

' I'msorry but there was something in him that drew me into him.'

' yeah. What was that.'

' I don't know. We better search more about him.'

' maybe he's a mate.'

' impossible. Vampires abd werewolves can't match. They can't even multiply together and besides, we already have a mate. Joseph.'

'Right. What was. Thinking.'

There was no way that a Vampire and a werewolf can fall in love.
Not only it's forbidden by the laws but by the universe.

I turned back to swim to the shore. A pain shot through my back again.
It's the same pain again.
I need to talk to the elders to see how they cold fix this broken bone.

"Elder ?"
" I need to ask you for a favor."

He turned around to look at me with sadness.

"What's wrong."

"Melissa. Were you with a Vampire this morning."

I can't answer him. I can't tell him about.

"I was hunting. For food."

"The women hunt in the afternoon now. Tell me the truth Melissa please. I'm worried."

I can't lie to him with this face of his. He's always been there for me.

"I-I was with a Vampire."

I bowed my head with shame.

"I know but Melissa be careful. He's a danger to our future and the future won't look good."
