The next morning was chaotic. Technically, we hadn’t spent a night here, since we got here last night. But as I was saying, things had gotten chaotic quickly.
Delaney and Kassy refused to talk to each other and I avoided Kassy at all costs. I was pretty sure everyone knew Kassy liked Collin and he probably did too. I was also very sure of the fact that everyone (including me) knew that Delaney liked David. Which would cause a problem since I probably was the only one that knew David liked Kassy. As for the other boys, I was totally unaware or who they liked.
“Lacey! Hurry up! We want to spend to the day at the beach!” Delaney called. Almost everyone was ready except me and Collin. Which I was sure Kassy wouldn’t be too fond of.
I put on a dark purple strapless bikini top and matching bottom, a black long sleeved t-shirt that I found that went down mid-thigh with matching flip flops (that were mine) and sunglasses. Once I was done I found Collin in his swim trucks.
“You ready?” I asked him, we really needed to hurry, I didn’t want Kass to think that I was trying to step in one the man she had a crush on.
He nodded wrapping his towel around his waist and followed me outside.
Once we were outside, we were greeted by KJ, engulfing us in hug.
“Hey you guys!” He yelled, probably drunk. “What were you guys doing? Making out?!” He asked loudly. Kassy head spun around quickly to shot me a glare.
“Yeah, Lace. Did you, you know, smooch?” She asked sweetly, making a kissing noise.
Everyone turned to look at us. “No, we didn’t, we just talked.” I defended, very aware of Liam eyes burning holes in my head.
“Yeah, right.” KJ replied, his smile wide.
“Whatever lets just go to the beach.” David muttered, frowning.
KJ picked up Kay and carried her all the way to the beach (Which technically was a lake) while she squealed and yelled for someone to help her. Collin was walking alone and every now and then I would see Kassy shot him longing looks. David was walking next to Kassy though it didn’t look like Kassy seemed very interested in keeping up with the conversation David was trying to start. Liam was walking with Andrew and I couldn’t help but look at Liam’s butt.
“So you like Liam?” Delaney questioned, coming up next to me.
“Yeah.” I replied dreamily.
“Better let Kass know that.”
“It won’t matter; she’ll think I’m lying anyways.” I shrugged.
Delaney looked at me sadly. “Afraid so.” With that, she skipped over to where Collin was no doubt to make Kassy jealous.
When we got to the lake, all the boys immediately dropped everything they were carrying and jumped in. (KJ still hold Kay, so Kay went in with them) Delaney was taking off her shirt to show off her bright neon blue bikini. Kassy was in a dark green bikini that went well with her tan skin.
I grabbed Delaney’s hand and pulled her with me to the edge of the dock and we jumped in. As soon as I surfaced I was greeted by the sight of a dripping wet Liam the immediately had my mind filled with dirty images. Oh my God…I started to breathe heavily and got embarrassed. He probably thought I was some sort of freak. I stared into his eyes and he gazed right back.
“Liam, bro! Catch!” KJ shouted, throwing a football over to him. He broke out of the trance long enough to catch it.
Oh my God, I’ve got it bad. I sighed and swayed my arms in cool-temperature lake water.

“Alright,” Andrew cackled, rubbing his hands together. “Let’s play Truth or Dare.” Instantly, we all agreed. Nothing more fun than a game of Truth or Dare.
“Kaylynn, you go first.” I said.
“Truth.” The boys booed at that.
“Okay, have you ever had sex in a car?” I already knew the answer to this but I just wanted to see if anything had changed.
“No.”
It went on like that for a while, just asking random question, stupid dares, until Kass made it interesting.
“Delaney, Truth or Dare?” She was staring intently at her.
Delaney kept steady eye contact. “Dare.”
“I dare you to tell us if you like someone in the group.” Kass sounded confident.
“No.” Delaney’s eyes hardened. Kassy pursed her lips.
“Lacey, truth or dare?”
I pondered. Truth or dare? The boys would think I was some sort of puss if I chose truth, but I was scared of what she would make me do if I picked dare. Oh well…
“Dare.”
“I dare you to kiss Collin.”
“What? No way!” I shouted. There was no way I was ruining my friendship with Kassy. Plus, I liked living and I wasn’t about to lose my life now.
“Oh come one! Please? For me?” now I knew what she was trying to do. She was trying to get Kassy jealous. Or trying to get her to hate someone else.
“C’mon! You guys have probably done it before so it’s no a big deal.” KJ shrugged. By now everyone was chanting “kiss”.
I turned to Collin and was very surprised to find his lips pressed against mine right when I turned to face him.
His lips were chapped. Nothing really special. His tongue flickered out to try and force access into my mouth. Appalled, I pushed him away. He fell back, slightly shocked.
“What the Hell was that?” I yelled at him.
“W-we were dared to kiss, Lacey!” He shouted back at me.
“Yes asshole, we were dared to kiss not you trying to shove your tongue down my throat!” Everyone was staring at us.
“Okay, whatever. Let’s go guys. It’s getting creepy here.” Kay said, tugging on her jacket.
Everyone murmured their agreement, as we were walking, I didn’t miss the look Liam had on his face. I knew there was something I had to do.
I had to talk to Liam.
