Day 13: The First Time

I looked up at her. Her beauty taking my full attention. I knew what was going to happen. I would die for her, by my master's hands. I wasn't strong enough to save her, so how could I ascend her?

"I know what your thinking." She says "but we have something different Bridger. I need you, you are the one chosen for me." *she starts to cry*

"Hey, it'll be okay. Amdar is better at this than I am. I'm no wizard." I reassure her.

"But Bridger, all these adventures and life saving experiences have lead me to fall in love with you." Amorine pleads. I stand up and kiss her forehead.

"Amdar won't kill me." I say quietely "I will. If it is true love I will return for you. Amdar will become a menace and I will be your champion."

"Bridger please don't speak like that!" She sobs

"I love.... Argh" I gasp seeing a arrow in my chest. "Amdar, I will come for you."

I let loose of the fight for my life. Seeing my lover's face over mine. Then her touch on my eyes. How I wanted her to know I love her.

I woke startled and afraid. How could I have never told her. She needs me more than anything in the world right now. I will find her and when I do, Amdar will die.

I get up, clean my camp, and head off. I spent all of yesterday running andi plan on doing that again. I need to catch up to the two trolls that survived my Ashsalt trap. I walked to the tracks and took off at a run again.

About an hour of running I found fresh tracks. Ten more minutes and I could see there camp fire smoke. As I approached I discovered this was the main army camp. The one Amdar sent to kill me. Well he is both dumb and smart. Because he just lead me to himself. Out in the far distance was a tall tower, painted black with a white hand was a flag.

He hasn't changed a bit. I thought

Changing my attention back to the war camp, I realize where this is.

It's dark and I'm wondering if she will show up. Amdar has had me banished from his presence but that won't stop Amorine from seeing me.

"Hey over here." A some what too fimilair voice said.

"Where are you?" I asked

"Over here." She says. I turn around and find her standing a few paces away.

"Amorine, how are you? Is he treating you okay?" I ask while walking over to her. I see her smile and it her lip in a way only girls can do.

"Bridger...." Is all she says. I get to her only to get hugged so tightly I could die. We stood there in each others arms. I could feel her heartbeat from how close I was to her.

"What is it?" I question her. She pulls away slightly.

"I love you" she answers softly. Before I can answer she leans in and I feel her lips against mine. Shocked but in heaven I kissed back passionately.

Well I did it finally. Thanks for everyone who is following this story. Next week my plans are to revise and edit all chapters so there are no more grammar and spelling errors. Forgive me for not writing over summer. I will be writing a lot this coming month. Thanks and enjoy;)
