“No fair, Kassy! Why do you get to room with him?!” Delaney yelled loudly. She was just upset because she didn’t get a chance to room her sexy crush David.
Kassy blinked. “Because I don’t want to room with,” she gestured to Andrew. “That.”
“Neither do I!” Delaney shouted.
“Girls, girls. Don’t fight over me. I know. I’m irresistible.” Andrew said, running his hands through his hair, probably trying to look sexy.
“Kaylynn!” We yelled.
She walked into the room wearing a long sleeved shirt that almost came down to her knees.
“What?” She moaned, rubbing her sleep-filled eyes.
“You’re rooming with Andrew.” I stated.
“Fine! Just don’t wake me up again its1:30in the fucking morning.” She mumbled. I had to agree with her there, Delaney and Kassy were fighting over their rooms like cats. They both wanted to be with their crushes.
Collin spoke from across the room. “Okay, I give up. Let’s come up with the room arrangements tomorrow.”
“No!” I yelled. Everyone looked at me like I was crazy. Except Liam, he was sleeping. He looked like an angel.
“We have to get it done today so we don’t have to deal with more fighting tomorrow.” I persuaded. It looked like everyone agreed.
“Okay so, How about the boys choose their roommates? Because obviously the girls all have crushes on at least one of us.” KJ smirked.
We all nodded. It seemed fair. At the time.
“I choose…Kassy.” David said, eyes glinting when he said her name. He smiled a bit while Delaney glared daggers at her.
“I’ll have Delaney.” KJ said, looking at her intently. She mouthed a thank you to him.
“I’ll have Lacey.” A sexy, gruff voice said.
Liam.
“Wait, where do I go?” Collin shouted. But I wasn’t really listening. Liam actually wanted me to be his roommate?
“With us!” Kassy said quickly.
“Not a good idea, he and David don’t mix well. They always fight when they’re stuck in rooms together.” Andrew explained.
“Okay well, he can stay with us then.” I said nonchalantly. Everyone nodded. Except Kassy. She was watching me with narrowed eyes.
We all walked to our rooms. Or least I tried to.
“Hey, Lacey. Can I talk to you for a second?” Kassy asked.
“Uhh sure?” I asked more than said. Liam was looking in between us with an eyebrow raised.
She yanked my arm quickly and pulled me to the empty hallway.
“Do you like Collin?” She asked, eyes training on mine.
I admit, I was a little taken aback by the question.
“No. I like-” I started but she beat me to it.
“Oh! Okay, never mind then. I don’t care. Just remember, Lillian,” she growled out my name. “Collin. Is. Mine.” She growled. If there was one thing you needed to know about Kassy, it was that if she wanted something, she was going to get it. One way or another.
“Kass, I swear I would never go after Collin if you liked him.” I tried to reason.
She narrowed her eyes. “So you’re saying that if I didn’t him, you would go after him?” My eyes widened.
“What? No! I don’t like him, Kass. Believe me.” I pleaded. She just glared.
“If you try and steal him away, I’ll ruin you and whoever you like in this cabin.” She threatened.
She let go of my arm and stormed down the hallway.
I stood there for a moment, shaking. She was scary. I don’t think she’s ever liked a boy this much.
I walked down the hall and found my “dorm room” and opened the door. Liam was unpacking, slightly swaying from being tired.
“Liam,” I whispered, not wanting to wake anyone sleeping. “Where’s Collin?”
He looked up at me. “He’s taking a shower.” I nodded. I wanted to stay as far away from him as possible this summer.
He went back to packing. I started looking around the room, taking everything in. It was a nice room, I guess. Walls painted a cream color, a few random pictures of people. One in particular caught my eye.
“Is that, you and the boys?” I asked him, motioning towards the picture of him in swimsuit trunks with Andrew and the others. Except David.
He looked over at it. “Yeah it is,” he looked back down and starting getting back to unpacking when he smirked. “You like what you see in that picture?” He flirted.
“Oh, it’s not too bad.” I flirted back, leaning closer to him. He laughed.
“Well then-”
“Hey Liam, do you have any-” A very confused and very naked Collin came out of the bathroom with a shampoo bottle in hand.
He looked up at me. “Oh shit, I’m so sorry Lacey!” He said, covering his “little buddy”. Liam roared with laughter while I remembered to cover my eyes.
“Ahh! I’m still a virgin!” I whispered shouted. Liam laughed louder. Collin blushed.
“Sorry.” He murmured. He went back into the bathroom (to change, I presumed) and Liam and I were alone.
“So why is this picture titled?” I asked him, hoping to change the subject.
He was still laughing slightly. “Blame David.”
