Chapter 2: help from Oikawa

Ah finally, the second chapter. Since I actually like how this story is going so far, I'll try to update it more often than I usually do with my other stories. Anyway, enjoy~

-Kageyama-

Kageyama was pissed off.

He had now gone a total of 6 nights with little-to-no sleep because he kept thinking about how his mother, Nishinoya and Tanaka, and Sugawara-senpai kept saying odd things about him having something to do with Hinata that he didn't understand, and he always ended up tossing and turning because of it.

He had done as he decided before and had asked Hinata if he had done something to provoke the others into saying those things, but Hinata had just looked up at Kageyama in confusion. He was just as lost as Kageyama was.

And so, upon waking up on the 6th morning of a restless night, Kageyama decided to do something about it.

During lunch that same day, Kageyama snuck away from his classroom before Hinata could barge in and demand that Kageyama eat with him.

Once he had reached a somewhat secluded spot, he took out his cell phone and dialed in a number.

~Ring~Ring~Ring~Ring~Ri-

"Tobio-chan? What do you want? You never call me, I'm not saying I don't like it though." Oikawa's voice spoke from Kageyama's phone.

"I want help with something." Kageyama replied.

"Help with what? Don't be so vague Tobio-chan."

Kageyama suddenly became a little nervous, to his surprise. As if he didn't want to admit something.

He took a deep breath and replied to Oikawa,

"I want help with my feelings."

-Hinata-

Hinata walked down the hallway at lunch with a skip in his step and singing a little tune.

"~It's lunch time and I get to eat, I get to eat with Bakageyama. Kageyama's stupid, but he's my friend, and I eat lunch with him. ~"

Hinata finished his off-key singing when he stopped suddenly at a classroom and slid the door open.

"Kageyama it's lunch time come eat with me!" He said loudly.

Everyone stopped and stared at him.

Some girl towards the back laughed and said, "Kageyama already left, he rushed out the door the moment lunch started."

Huh, Kageyama's not here? Hinata thought.

He apologized and closed the door, wandering down the hall.

I guess I'll look for him.

Hinata thought, continuing to skip down the hall and sing some song about goldfish.

Hinata had wandered around the school for a little while and was beginning to think that Kageyama would be excellent at hide-and-seek, when he heard Kageyama's voice from behind a wall.

Hinata stuck his back against the wall, listening.

"Shut up! I'm not gonna call you again!" Kageyama practically yelled into his phone before closing it and sighing.
