When your backyard weather vane turns
With a gentle southerly breeze,
May it a moment soothe concerns,
My thoughts warm winds, I send you these.
When unexpected pleasant day
Lifts your spirits, lips curved in smile,
Know from over Ocean I pray,
Breathed across the Lakes, span each mile.
Mountains cannot stem heartfelt prayer,
Nor space diminish fervent wish.
Dear friend, I know you hear me there
When warm winds the fallen leaves swish.
