One of the main characters at the top! The song is kind of the song I'm going to be basing the story off, and I recommend you watch the music video to get a better understanding. There is also a Russian version, which is actually the original, if anyone is interested ;) The Russian version basically says "I've gone insane, I need her!". But yeah, this is my first story so enjoy!

Alexia's POV

Everywhere in the building, I heard the chime of bells, signaling the end of sixth hour. All around me, the nervous students started packing up their things, getting ready to go home. Their excited chatter filled my ears. They all were excited for one reason or another, but as I packed up my stuff, my heart started pounding for a reason I was willing to bet was different from anyone else's.

I nervously stepped from one foot to the other as I waited for the crowd around the door to thin, allowing me to slip through and merge in with the endless crowd that was streaming though the doors. Everyone was anxious to go home and get started on the enormous pile of homework the teachers expected us to do, even though it was only the first week if school. Which was totally unfair, to be honest.

I just went with the crowd until I got to the place where I have to turn to get to the bus loop, and I somehow managed to break free of the enormous body of students all heading in one direction. I leaned against the wall, trying to catch my breath. I hated being in large crowds of any kind. I had social anxiety, and I now realized that this was going to be quite a difficult year for me.

In any case, shortly after I managed to regulate my breathing to more or less normal, I started making my way to the bus stop. And that's when it happened.

I saw her.

She was sitting, leaning against the wall, surrounded by friends. Her bright orange hair was what first caught my eye. Then, I saw her face. Even though I was straight, or, to be more exact, I had no idea what my sexuality was, but when I saw her face, even I could appreciate its beauty. She had pale blue eyes, fiery orange hair, and pale lips.

Despite that it was -5° outside, she was only wearing a light blue sweater with gloves and jeans with boots. It made me, in my huge coat fully dressed for winter, feel way too overdressed.

I caught myself staring and quickly looked away, directing my attention instead to the poster on the wall. I looked at it for a short time, pretending to examine it. After a bit, I continued walking, brushing past her and her group of friends, pretending not to notice the way her eyes followed me until I turned a corner and was out of her sight.

I saw her again everyday for the next week.

And it was only on the second week of school, on the third day, that we actually got to meet each other.

Sorry if its short! I promise I'll write more in the next chapters, but this is kind of like the opening, I guess. Don't forget to vote and comment! All feedback means a great deal to me!

See you soon!
