"Trust is like a mirror, you can't fix it when its broken"

Whoever said this is bloody hell right.

Its strange how trust differs.

You trust some people easily, some you don't.

How can you even know who to trust? Especially when you're out of options.

Family, Friend or Foe?

You could say family but I have no family.

You could say friend but I don't have friends here.

Or do I?

You could say foe but that's my only option.

I can't even tell who is a friend or foe.

Christophe or Anaya?

Christophe could be both and so could Anaya too.

I just have to try my luck.

If my luck fails me, then I'm doomed.

Her words meant everything to me.
It gave me hope amidst the darkness.

"How should I help?" She asked me.
Her voice clear with notes of determination.

"A distraction" I stated.

She had agreed to help me but I still had my doubt.

I wasn't sure if I could trust her.

I had trusted Christophe but it had cost me my everything.

He acted nice to me but it was just to use me to save himself.

"I could do that, I'll think of something" she replied.

I nodded, even in the darkness she could tell I believed her.

I know its stupid but I need her help.

Anaya started humming.

It was Amazing Grace.

I knew the lyrics to the song well so I joined in but instead of humming, I sang quietly with what was left of my voice.

"Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound. That saved a wretch like me ...."

I closed my eyes.

The song soothed our wounds, making everything feel better but when I opened my eyes, nothing had changed.

I was still in my prison with no way to escape.

I still had the same predicament, trust Anaya or trust Christophe? Only time will tell my choice.

I tried hard to stay awake but I couldn't.

Something wanted me to sleep so I succumbed.

I curled up in a ball and fell asleep on the cold and clammy floor.
