My Love!

I run to Lucinda's home. I honestly don't care if I woke her up or not! I burst through the trapdoor above her ladder. I practically jump on her.

"Lucinda! It's Laurence, he's alive!" I scream, shaking her shoulder frantically.

"I'm up, I'm up- WAIT WHAT!" She screams back when she registers what I said. I hug her happily.

"I'll tell the village! They'll be overjoyed!"

I race down the steps from her house and send Dante and Garroth to wake everyone up and get them to the plaza.

"People of Phoenix Drop. We have lost a lot in war, but the other Magiks users in town have helped me find a way to regain one of those we lost. Most of us know that we have been receiving a message from a lost soul. We have been able to confirm that lost soul, is the soul of Laurence." Loud cheers erupt  from crowd of people. I smile.

"The downside, he is trapped with the Shadow Knights in Lady Irene's realm, where a minute for them, is a year for us. Thankfully, since he is a soul, his time is moving at the same pace as ours. We can rescue him if we can find the hidden portal to her realm. Of course, then we would have to face the task of finding him and getting out in time." I sigh.

"But I know we can do it. We would all have to pitch in, in our own ways. Who's with me!?" More cheers. I beam.

I jump down from the top of Logan's Merchant stand. We don't have a stage or anything, so I have to stand on here for now.

I walk past Garroth, looking down. I don't want to meet his eyes. I know he's happy that we have a chance to get Laurence back, but I think that he tried to use Laurence's absence as a chance for him to get me to fall for him. Not. Working. On the other hand, he could be partly upset that his chance to get me to return his feelings is blown. I'll attempt to talk to him later.

It's twilight, and I'm heading to the guard tower to talk to Garroth. Dante won't be there, he'll be with Kawaii Chan. He was WAY more successful with her than Brendon, but he's got Nicole, so he's ok.

I climb the ladder to the top floor and pull my self up.

"Garroth?" I ask, looking around. I look out the window overlooking the ocean, and see Garroth sitting on a ledge, looking at the rising moon.

I climb down to him and sit next to him.

"Are you happy we can get him back?" I ask.

"Yes and no." I sigh.

"Ok, but you know I can't return your feeling right?" He sighs.

"Yes. But I'm glad I can have my brother back" I smile

"Good. I can't wait either. My love will return." He chuckles.

"Just wait until I tell him you've been calling him that." I laugh.

"Thanks for understanding." I hug him. "Thank you so much." He hugs me back.

Yo! Glad I returned, yea? I bet you are! OMG. I can't get over how many reads I'm getting! 76 in such a short time! I thought I would only get my friends to read this fanfic! I guess I should have expected it to go farther because if all the drama in the series! But I love you guys and I can't wait to get more
