Her Father isn't her father.
Her Mother didn't give birth to her.
And as far as her brother goes,
well he has a whole other family.
The only blood relative she has is her sister.

But does that not make them family?
Is blood the only thing that makes a family?
What about a judge, a pen, and a piece of paper?
Isn't that enough?

In reality blood is just a thing.
Its just a thing that runs through your veins.
Just a simple little thing.
A simple little thing that means nothing.

When someone gets married its not by blood.
Its by a judge, a pen, and a piece of paper.
That automatically makes them a family.
Not blood.
So how is this any different?

The thing is it's not.
You know what happens when that judge signs that paper with that pen?
Those kids get siblings
and that couple gets kids.

But we are forgetting the most
important thing.
Love.
Love is something that comes before everything else.

Because it wasn't the couples fault that they couldn't have children.
And it wasn't the kids fault their biological parents didn't want them.

But the moment that couple laid eyes on those beautiful kids they fell in love.
It was that exact moment they became a family.

So tell me is it the blood that makes a family?
The judge with that pen and paper?
Or is it just straight up love?
