Amal just stood in the middle of the room, a good four feet away feeling stupid. She couldn't believe he was just gonna walk out on her like that. Like she was some hoe who decided to bring him back to her place. He was just gonna leave her like the seven years of their relationship meant nothing to him.

"Amal, c'mere." Casper said a little louder this time, a slight stern tone in his voice.

She stood there with furrowed eyebrows as she stared at her carpet trying desperately not to let her tears fall. Truthfully Amal was embarrassed. How was she losing her man to a bitch he barely knew? When the realization of that hit her a hand flew up to her mouth almost like she was about to throw up and tears instantly formed in her eyes. "Please...please leave." She choked out, trying her best not to cry.

Casper reached from the bed and pulled her hand, bringing her toward him. She stood in front of him but she turned her face away from his unable to look at him. Amal could tell he was staring at her, which was kinda making it worse to her. She couldn't believe he was breaking up with her.

"Look at me."

Amal ignored him which made Casper stand up so he was towering over her. He tilted her chin upward so she was looking at him. "I want you to know, that I will always love you. But—"

"But..." Amal repeated in disbelief, tears falling down her face.

Casper used the back of his index finger to gently dab at her eyes but she roughly smacked his hand away. "I wanna smack you so fucking bad right now," Amal growled, looking at him with anger and hurt. "You just asked me to have your baby and now you're leaving me."

Casper lowered his tone, speaking much softer. "I want you to know that I will always love you Amal. But in order for us to be official I think she needs to know it too so she knows I'm dead serious about us."

Amal stared at him in anger until his words registered moments later. She looked at him in complete shock and he smiled, using his thumb to wipe under her wet eyes. She almost felt like she was hearing things. "W-wait, what?"

"I was just going to tell her we can't be together anymore."

Amal gasped and one hand flew up to her mouth. "Wait, you're choosing me?" She said.

A small smile grew on his face seeing how happy she became so fast. He nodded his head and licked his lips. "Yeah ma, I'm choosing you. I'm sorry it even took me this long to hold you down. It shouldn't even have been a thought last night when you told me to choose; but I know I want to be with you and only you. So I'm ready to drop everything and everyone else. How that sound? Nobody else, just you and me."

Amal started to cry so hard she couldn't even answer back right away. She just held a hand over her mouth as she cried like someone had died. Casper just stood and watched her cry with a faint smirk on his face not believing what he put this girl through. He never liked to see her cry, even if they were tears of joy.

Once Amal calmed down, she smiled at him. "Oh my gosh baby are you serious?" She asked repeating the question like she couldn't believe it.

"Dead ass baby girl. Imma be back in a minute, just give me a second to go and talk to this girl so she could know for real that I can't mess with her anymore."

Amal squealed. She knew this was something she deserved a long time ago and technically had no reason to be this happy; but she was. She was because she knew this was a big step for Casper. This is something he had been doing since high school; so if he could say he would stop to be with her faithfully, then Amal was proud of him because this was showing how much he care about her and wanted to be with her instead of losing her.
