Staring at him I begin to feel the adrenaline leave my body making my limbs begin to ache and become heavier. The night air feels chilly against my heated skin as I continue staring at the anger filled eyes of Dareious. Shivering I relax my hands and I feel the knife that was once sunk into the flesh of the other wolf slip from my fingers. The noise echoes across the parking lot and I let out a gasp as Dareious releases a snarl loud enough for me to feel it on my skin. The sudden need to be with him has tears fill my eyes and I take a step forward followed by another and another.

Now that I'm closer his height is almost overwhelming as he towers over me. His warm breath hits my face and I stare up at his angry gaze. Biting my lip, I slowly reach up but his growl has me tensing and halting my movement. He leans his head down and places it under my touch and I can feel the tears that were building finally fall from my eyes. The moment his fur touches my hand it feels like electric currents are surging through my body. Moving forward I throw my arms around his huge neck and sob into it. The more I relax into him the more I feel the fear pour out of me in waves having to face that creature.

Human arms suddenly wrap around me and begin to pull me away from Dareious and I let out a terror filled scream. My eyes snap up to Dareious' gaze and I reach for him. His roar of rage has whoever is touching me letting go. I run the few steps they could get me away from him and wrap my arms back around him. His purr like growls fill the air as he leans his head down and holds me closer to him. I let the rumble of his growls soothe me and I finally begin to calm down. His fur has helped calm me down and kept me warm against the chill in the night air. Burying my face against him I nozzle closer and his purring ramps up into deeper growls. The sound causing an entirely different feeling to stir inside of me. Pulling slightly back so I look up at him I see the anger slowly leaving his gaze and lust beginning to take its place.

"Valerie, you need to come here." The sudden voice breaks into my thoughts and I jump and whip around. I'm greeted with a large group of men including some I haven't met but also Gabe and my Uncle.

"Why, what's wrong?" I ask breathlessly as I try to calm my breathing.

"Dalton-" The wolf behind me snarls and my Uncle raises his hands and bows his head slightly. "Dareious needs to change back and he can't do that with you so close, he could hurt you on accident. We didn't mean to scare you by pulling you away but we know that he wants to change back."

"How do you know what he wants?"

Touching his head my Uncle states, "Because we can hear him in here. Come a little closer and he can change." He holds his hand out to me but I shake my head.

"I don't want to be touched." I whisper at him and wrap my arms around my waist.

Turning around I focus my gaze on Dareious and take a couple of steps back away from him. His eyes seem wary as he stares at me and I finally realize that I've never seen him change and maybe he's scared of my reaction. Giving him a smile I stare in his eyes as I drop my arms from my waist and hold them out to him. "Hurry up and change so you can hold me my big beautiful Mate."

The encouragement worked better than I thought because within seconds the snapping of bones fill the air. The change only takes a moment as the fur recedes and smooth tan skin takes its place. Following the lines of his frame my gaze meets his now human eyes and he opens his arms to me. Dropping mine I run to him again and wrap my arms around him. The feel of his hand in my hair and the other on my ass is a welcome one. The dual grips on my ass and hair tighten and he uses the one on my hair to pull my head back.

"I am going to have to teach you a lesson for not listening to Dalton my female." Dareious narrows his eyes at me and I gulp. Licking my lips, I grip his neck as I rub myself against him. The air is filling with a new need for both of us to be closer. The grip on me tightens further shooting small sharp sparks of pain causing me to let loose a moan and my eyelids to lower in pleasure.

"Dareious please..." I beg him in a whisper before licking my lips.

"My Mate needs to learn a lesson and be pleasured. LEAVE US." He roars around me and pulls me closer to him.

I can feel his hot length pressed between my thighs and I moan again. I completely forgot that he was nude and we were in the middle of a dark parking lot with my Uncle and his pack. I would be embarrassed if every step he took didn't make me squirm against him. His growls were falling from his lips constantly before we even made it to the back door of the building. Snarling when he took the step up into the building as it pressed his length against me in a new way. I leaned forward, unable to contain my need any longer, and began licking and placing open mouthed kisses on the skin of his neck.

"My Queen you are beginning a very dangerous game." His growling voice made me moan louder and I bit the side of his neck.

"Maybe I am tired of waiting." I murmur the words against his now bruised flesh and place a couple of kisses.

A door slamming lets me know we're alone and I pull my head back and gaze into his beautiful dark eyes. I can see the need shining in them as I continue to look up at him.

"I think it's time my Mate learn a lesson." The growled words would be terrifying if I didn't see the lust on his beautiful face. He swoops down and claims my mouth in a scorching kiss and I'm lost to everything around me.
