Luke pushed open the black door leading to the office. His apointment was at nine-fifteen and he was half a minute late. In the modeling industry, being late is not well seen. It usually means you are not taking yourself seriously and not ponctual which is why the blonde boy is running, hoping to make it in time.

Or at least, arrive not too late.

''Luke Hemmings,'' he said to the lady. She gave him a short nod, scanning trough the list to search his name. Once she found it trought the middle, she motioned for him to take place on the white wall to take pictures of him.

These pictures were brief and very casual. Two snaps - to make sure one is great - of a straight face, no smile and one last, full body, snap.

''Very well, please stand with the others against the other wall, we'll start now.''

About ten other male models were standing against the white wall in the back. Some were very handsome which made Luke a little insecure. He bite his lip and stood beside the dark haired on. He looked about his age, maybe a little older.

''My name is Celine and I'll be the one holding the casting today. I have to admit I was quite surprised to see so many beautiful faces this morning but beauty is not all medoling is about. Talent is very important too! We'll start with a catwalk one by one. You'll all do one round trip and we'll pass to the next step.''

Catwalking is not Luke's thing. With my extremely long legs like his, it's easy to trip on your feet and fall. And a fall can be fatal for your casting.

Arrived last, Luke was the last to walk and did brilliant. He tried to hide his smirk, proud of himself.

Then, it was clothes time. Each guy had a set of clothes to try on and when Luke saw the clothes, he couldn't help but scrunch his nose. They were atrocious. Too much color and too much pattern. He put them on in silence and as quick as possible. One quick glance at the mirror and he wanted to throw up. The clothes were odd looking on him and the pants were much too short.

Luke sighed, knowing it was over for him.

If the clothes doesn't suits you, you have no chances to be taken. Everyone knows the rules.

The fabric of tis shirt was too tight arround his broad shoulder and for an instant, Luke was affraid to rip the seam. The rules are clear, you break it, you pay it back. And Luke was sure it was expensive...

The casting done, the blue eyed blonde left the building in his normal clothes: jeans and tee shirt. It was almost ten by the time so why not grabbing a coffee before joining his friends.

Luke felt a fresh breeze as he stepped inside Starbucks. The air is always cold here, he should've taken a jacket with him. But when you're late, you don't think about bringing a jacket. All you want is to make it in time.

Luke waited in the line who wasn't long at all this morning - a miracle. This Starbucks is always busy. There's three others in the city but everyone comes here. It's werid.

When his turn arrived, Luke noticed the new cashier standing behind the counter. He had curly, light brown hair that almost touched his shoulder but not quite.

''Welcome to Starbucks, what can I serve you?''

''A large coffee. Black, please,'' he replied, smiling at the cute cashier.

He then paid his order and stepped aside to wait. When the cashier handed him his coffee, Luke noticed his eyes, they were hazel-green  and Luke had never seen eyes this color before.

He thanked him and exited the café, eager to join his friends. As he walked down the sidewalk, he noticed a name on the cup. Luke frowned, not remembering saying his name to the cashier - they aslways ask but not this time. Angling the cup lightly, Luke read 'cute blonde' in black sharpie with a small heart on the right. He smiled at the writing.
