Alyssa was in a very serious accident and became paralyzed and forgot everything that has ever happened in her life her friends,her family,everything.She was a sweet fun loving girl to her twin brother.They did everything together.She ran ahead of him when crossing the road one day at the age of 12 and got hit by a drunk driver.It was tragic she wasn't functioning correctly and her family couldn't afford the surguries it would take to fix her.But she ended up getting adopted by a man who had a daughter of his own and felt he wanted another kid one wasn't enough and he was fairly rich.
Alyssa now has a step-mother a little sister and a step-sister who she can call family-sometimes.
She doesn't remember anything from before the accident-she doesn't remember her twin she doesn't remember her birthday-just the day she was adopted on which her dad celebrates both every year-she forgot where she was from she forgot it all which is fine with her dad because he wanted to start fresh and not have to have her ask about her brother or mum or dad or anything.
