Shade of Affection

Chapter II

Serena began to open her eyes. As they fluttered, a dark figure began to emerge from the shadows. Forcefully, she closed her eyes then opened them wide.

She squealed in shock. A million thoughts crossed her mind. How? Why? Where? Who? Help!

After realising that the figure belonged to the boy in the black clothes, she calmly asked,"Excuse me Sir, I don't mean to be rude but em what is this?"

"Hahaha..haha..ha ha..."chuckled the boy and Serena shuffled back a bit."..."Little miss. You're just a weapon I'm using on my latest mission. I won't even touch a hair on your head...as long as you listen to me."

"That's it! No more Miss Nice Girl! Who are you?!?! Why me???"

"I warned you! Little miss won't behave?" he said as he grinned like a monkey about to steal a banana.

"W-w-well...urm...your threats don't work on me Mr. Either you let me go or em you'll be hearing from my lawyers!"muttered Serena as sweat raced down her forehead.

"What was that? Lawyers?? You live in such a small house, itms amazing you fit in stairs!"

"How did you know that?? Who are you??"

"Little Miss! That's not the point! The point is I'm in charge here and you listen to me..if you want to remain safe. I've already warned you not to talk back to me! Once more and.."

"Yes Sir!" Screamed Serena before he could finish off his sentence.

For a few seconds, the boy in black helped Serena up and then led her away.

"Is anybody there?"mumbled a confused voice from the distance.
