STC Entry 4

Tandang-tanda ko pa kung anong sinabi ko noon

"The two of you will climb those monkey bars then the first one to cross will be my prince." I mouthed the words habang nakangiti.

"Ready get set go!"

Nagsimula na silang magtry.

"Go Uvan!" I shouted sinadya ko talagang si Uvan lang tawagin pero ichecheer ko rin naman si British Boy.

"Hey cheer for me as well." Reklamo ni British Boy.

I laugh at him

"Go Yellow!" I cheered at him dahil yellow nga yung buhok niya.

He smiled at me at nagsimula na ulit magtry.

After fifteen minutes wala pa rin nakakatulay and both of them looked tired pero mukhang walang patatalo.

Lahat ata ng masasayang oras may hangganan dahil dumating na si Dad kasama si kuya na may kasamang mga alalay na may dalang mga plastic.

"Let's go." He told me firmly

I nodded at nagpaalam na ako sa kanila.

"Hey its time for me to go home already my dad is there already"

"Hey we are not yet finish!" reklamo nila

"No I'm sorry but its time to go home."

"Okay but let us be friends." They told me ng sabay.

"Okay" I give them big hugs and kisses in their cheeks. And I saw their faces bright red.

"See you again we will always be here."

"Okay."

Naglakad na kami papunta doon sa car pero may tumawag sakin.

"Hey Pale Girl!" they shout at me

Tumingin naman ako sa kanila

"We both crossed so that means we are your prince."

I smiled at them then I waved at them as a sign of goodbye.

Then I remember asking Dad to go out but he told me that he doesn't want. So I waited and waited na halos di na ako mapakali sa bahay gusto ko ulit makita sina Uvan at Yellow. And one time nagkaroon ako ng chance wala na sila sa playground and I was saddened.

Naglakad ako papunta dun sa malaking bato at dun ko nakita yung mga nakaukit na hanggang ngayon ay nandun pa.

At may nakasingit na papel dun sa may ilalim nung bato na tinago ko sa closet ko. Eto yung laman ng letter.

Dear Pale Girl,

Hey we are sorry that we are not able to meet you anymore because we are going back to Australia (Uvan) and United Kingdom (Yellow).

But you always remember this that we are always going to protect you. Someday we are going back to be with you as your Prince.

I remember reading this while crying tapos umuwi pa ako ng bahay at nag-iyak na naman at umasa na pupunta ulit sila dito. For how many years akong bumalik-balik dito hanggang sumuko na rin ako siguro they already forget about me.
