Chapter Three

Bella's POV

I wake up to the sun shining in my face. I sit up and the memories of last night hit me all at once. Imprinting. Werewolves. Marking. Everything races through my mind. I get out of bed and slowly walk to my bathroom. I brush my teeth and take a quick shower. When I walk back into the room I see 2 figures sitting on my bed.

"AHHHH!!" I scream almost dropping my towel.

"Shh, Shh. It's just me and Paul." says, i'm guessing Jacob.

"Oh, you guys scared me. What are you doing here?" I ask them.

"We wanted to see you." says Paul.

"Oh, well wait downstairs. I'll be down in a couple of minutes." I say walking into the closet.

I hear my bedroom door close indicating that they left. I walk into my closet and put on my undergarments. I then change into a black short sleeved shirt and skinny jean pants. I also put on some black flats.

I put my hair into a ponytail and walk downstairs. I see Paul and Jacob sitting on the couch with Charlie watching a game.

"Would you like something to eat?" I ask them.

"Sure." all three of them say without turning to look at me.

I walk into the kitchen and get ingredients out to make eggs and bacon.

When I finish cooking I call them into the dinning room to eat breakfast.

"Umm, this is good Bella." says Jacob, with a mouth full of eggs.

"Thank you." I say.

Good thing I made a lot cause these boys eat a lot. There grocery bills must be high. Like seriously!

"Sooooo, what are you doing today?" I ask them as they stuff there mouth.

"Well we were wondering if you wanted to do something with us?" Paul asks.

"Okay, let's go to the beach and get to know each other." I say.

The both nod and continue to eat. When we finish eating I clean the dishes, I say bye to Charlie, and we start to walk to the beach.

When we get to the beach we find a log to sit on and look at each other.

"Let's talk about this imprinting and werewolf thing." I say.

"Okay." says Jacob.

"In more depth, what is imprinting?" I ask them.

"Imprinting is when 1 or more wolves find there mate. We can be anything the imprint wants us to be just note that if you were to choose us as just friends we wouldn't be able to go out with other girls because the imprint makes it impossible for us to cheat. In our case, me and Paul imprinted on you we are very possessive in a way and we will be whatever you want us to be." says Jacob.

"Oh my. That's something. So what do you mean by you can't cheat?" I ask.

"We will never be attracted to other people so you are it for us. We can only date you, kiss you, have sex with you, things in that nature." says Paul.

"Oh. What about the possessiveness.?" I say.

"We don't want other males beside the pack and family touching you. It's just a wolf thing really, all of us are pretty possessive, but I'm probably the most possessive." Paul says.

Ok, well tell me more about wolves." I say

"We are apart of the Quileute wolf tribe. Our temperature runs higher than humans at a 108 degrees. We are faster than humans and can change into wolf when angry. We are nothing like those full moon wolf legends. We protect our people from vampires." Jacob says.

"That's cool so vampires are real too."

"Yup but not like the vampire legends either. They don't sleep and are able to go in the daylight, but they sparkle like diamonds in the sun. They are exceptionally beautiful and are killed by being torn to pieces and burned. All the stuff you learned about vampires from books aren't true." Paul says.

"Now let's talk about ourselves. How old are you?" I asks.

"I'm 17 and Paul is 19." says Jacob.

"You're only 17?" I ask Jacob, shocked.

"Yup." he says.

"Wow, y'all look so much older." I say.

"Yeah we get that a lot." says Paul.

"So about this imprint thing, what do you want us to be?" asks Jacob.

"Umm...."
