*******Heartbeat pounding******
*******Deep slow breathing*****
“You never know what you had until you really lost it.”
“Your daughter will be okay Mr. and Mrs. Johnson.” A voice slowly murmurs across the room.
“Do you know why she would pass-out like that?” Mrs. Johnson asks walking over to her daughter and placing her hand lightly on her cheek.
The doctor walks over to her and stares at Aubrey.
“Well you said her girlfriend was there right?” The doctor asks.
Mrs. Johnson looks over at the doctor in a somewhat look of anger and sadness.
“Maybe her girlfriend affected her in some way? Because there is actually a syndrome called ‘Broken Heart Syndrome’.” The doctor states staring at her.
Mrs. Johnson stares at her daughter breathing deeply and observes the monitor closely. She looks over at her husband who is sitting next to Aubrey. She gives a little smile knowing that Aubrey will make it because she is strong.
“Travis, I’ll be right back.” She says walking away towards the door.
“Where are you going?” He gets up walking to his wife and staring at her emotions.
She takes a deep breath and looks out the hall towards the waiting room. “To Syanne. I’m going to find out what happened. I won’t let my daughter suffocate over a girl that broke her heart.”
Mrs. Johnson heads down the hallway to the waiting room and peaks over to Syanne. She stares at her not knowing what to say or what to do. She slowly walks over to Syanne and sits down beside of her. She stares at Syanne’s eyes as they are filled with tears and redness.
“Syanne…” Mrs. Johnson says slowly.
Syanne’s attention is on her and wipes her eyes away. “Ye… yeah…” she says as her voice breaks up.
“I want you to tell me what happened before Aubrey passed out. I won’t do anything but I need to know because I care about my daughter.” She says firmly staring deeply in Syanne’s eyes.
“I… I would… feel more comfortable… approaching Aubrey herself… M’am, I’m sorry…” Syanne says staring at her.
Mrs. Johnson takes a deep breath frustrated Syanne won’t tell her but it really isn’t her business.
“You know…. The doctor mentioned that there is a Syndrome called ‘Broken Heart Syndrome’ and that’s when I suspected that you may have something to do with it. It was kind of obvious the fact that Aubrey was yelling and crying for me to come to get her. And she was at your house… I’m not going to get in your guys business but I won’t allow my daughter suffocate because of you.”
Syanne swallows hard and nods her head.
“I’ll let you know when she wakes and I’ll leave you two alone. But I won’t accept you if you did hurt her in anyway.” Mrs. Johnson says as she gets up and walks away with tears filled in her eyes.
****Aubrey’s hospital room****
“Come on Aubrey… you worried me to death the last time you were in here…. Just wake up…” Mr. Johnson says staring at her.
