In The Winter

Chapter 3

   Destiny walked into the art class, it was filled with paintings on the wall from past students that had this classroom. Everyone went to their seats and Destiny walk up to the art teacher, Mrs.Kacey, she told her where she was supposed to sit. Destiny walked towards her pastel green seat, her favourite colour. She was sitting next to a girl named Lillian on her right and a boy named Cristian on her left. The teacher clapped once, "Alright everyone the activity we are doing today is you are going to make a name card with all the things you like such as hobbies, food and family or pets! You may work with the person next to you if you wish, You may now begin!" Destiny looked to her right and Lillian was already with a partner so she looked to her left where Cristian sat waiting to get his paper from the teacher with his pencil case and pencils out. "Um excuse me" Destiny tapped his shoulder and he looked at her, "um do you have a partner?" He shook his head, "would you like to be my partner? I don't have one and I am new so I don't really know what to do" he nodded his head and moved his paper closer to him and gave her her's,"I'll be your partner, you know what you are doing right?" She nodded her head "you just need a art pencil and some pencil crayons, if you don't have any you can use some of mine for now" Cristian said with a smile. "Thank you so much I will try to get some as soon as possible so I don't have to keep using yours" they both laughed. They started to work on their art, they were both very good artists. They handed in their masterpieces, packed up their stuff and lined up at the door waiting patiently for the bell to ring so they could go to math class.
