Bethany's POV
We pulled up at the restaraunt and I immediately recognized it, "isn't this where we had our first date? But back in Cali?" I asked Ross.
"You remember?" He questioned "well yea it was my first date with the love of my life".
"You are so cheesy!" He laughed "but it's so cute don't worry babe". He leaned over and kissed me softly on the lips. I kissed back then pulled apart. "SUSHI!!" I yelled then jumped out the car and ran to the door, "well you're excited".
"Yes sir-ee, yes I am".
During meal
I ordered the Green Dragon Roll and the Shrimp Tempura. As I finished chewing my last piece (Idk what it's called... It's not a whole roll it's just the last one.... So whatever 😆) Ross looked up at me sadly and said "tomorrow I'm leaving".
Shit I forgot! "It's okay baby, I'll be home in what 4 days... So 3 days after you. It'll give you time to unpack and settle in after tour"
"I know but I want to see you", "we can still FaceTime?" I suggested "yeah I guess" he sighed.
"Babe it's ok. I'll see you soon and you could pick me up at the airport if you want. Then my dad can stay home because he took the day off"
"But what about your mom?" He asked. I sighed loudly and fought back a tear. "She was diagnosed with cancer not too long after we broke up" I said rolling in my lips to not cry.
"Oh Bethany.... Baby I'm sorry don't cry" he said reaching over the table and rubbing my back.
"Everybody kept saying she fought real hard and put up a fight.. But they're lying. By the time she was diagnosed she was already dying..... Gah I miss her so much" I said sniffling then wiping the tears off careful to not smudge my mascara anymore than it probably already was.
"I'll be right back" I said quietly getting up and running to the bathroom. I fixed my makeup and used the bathroom. After washing my hands I walked out and back to our table. Ross looked sad. "Babe what's wrong?"
"L-l-Lisa died? I mean passed on...." He said shaking his head knowing from past experience that I hated the word die. And dying, and anything relevant.
"Yes..... But right now she's looking at us and feeling really bad that were both sad on our date. She wants us to he happy Ross.... So let's think happy thoughts!! Like rainbows and unicorns and aliens and bubble gum!"
"Ok" he said not looking too sure of himself. "Ross? Please... Be happy it's our second first date!" I said grabbing his hand and squeezing it like he did to me earlier at lunch.
"Ok I'll be happy for you, Lisa, and all those rainbows unicorns aliens and bubble gums out there" he laughed.
"Ok good" I smiled.
After dinner
"Ross please I'll pay" I said practically begging him. "No! I'm the man I shall pay... And even if I wasn't the man I'm still going to pay for the most beautiful girl in this restaurant... And that I've ever seen" he said staring into my eyes.
"And you say I'm cheesy". He laughed at me and signed the check putting a couple 20 dollar bills into the book and 10 dollars on the table. "No at least let me do the tip", "baby!" He exclaimed not exactly frusterated but just wanting me to stop whining. "Sorry I'm acting like a baby" I said looking down "no stop it. It's not you that I'm looking to like that... It's that girl over there. I know her from somewhere I just don't know where from and she keeps staring at me".
"It's fine Ross. Let's- thank you have a nice night, you too- lets go" I said grabbing Ross hand and standing up. We walked out hand in hand.

We arrived at my aunts house and I was not ready to leave Ross. "I know I want to stay too but I have to finish my packing and go see my family. They're probably worried, I haven't seen them since I saw you today" he said. "Yea it's fine... Could we hang out tomorrow before yall leave?" I asked hopeful and excited, "duh!" He replied shoving his lips onto mine. He caught me by surprise but I closed my eyes and kissed back my hand on the back of his neck.
The kiss got a little heated and I pulled back for breath. "Thanks for dinner... I'll see you tomorrow, ok?" I said after gaining my breath. "Yep" he said before kissing me one last time- a soft short one.
I got out the car and grabbed my purse then made my way to the door. Before I got to the front step I head my name called. "Bethany?" Ross asked, I spun around "yes?" I asked.
"I love you"
"I love you too".

So here's the next chapter. I got bored and decided to write more.... But I guess I'm going to upload it now after I write this so 2 updates in 1 day, YAY!
