I groan as the morning bell wakes me up. I hate mornings. Too early. Too much going on. I roll over and attempt to fall back asleep but the bell just seems to get louder and finally I get up.

I quickly dress in a green sweater and jeans. Then I head downstairs to go to the training simulation room. This is one thing I love about being an X-Men. I get to use my abilities.

It took a while for my powers to manifest completely. My dad obviously knew I was a telepath when I was a baby. My mind is almost as strong as his but Im not long range.

The next (I'm not really sure if I should call it an ability or not) to become apparent was my mental and physical growth rate are 2 times the normal persons. I've only been alive 11 years but I'm matured to a 23 year old. (Not to mention an expirement that made me age to 27) No one really likes that I've aged this fast. They're worried that I will not stop aging. That I will die young. It seems to be slowing down though.

Dad and Hank tried to run tests when it first became apparent and that was when they learned of another of my abilities. My skin cannot be punctured. It's like there's a force shield around my body. You can touch my skin but if you're going to hurt me in any way it protects me.

Logan's claws don't even come in contact. Rogue can touch me without hurting me. An extension of this ability is I can manipulate abilities. Dad says my mom could too so I got it from her.

I also got her abilities to feel everyone's emotions. When I was around 15 I learned to control their emotions as well.

So altogether my abilities are Telepathy, Control of others abilities, Control of emotions, and the shield. With the only downside of aging two times too fast, and again that's slowing.

I have alot of abilities for a mutant, but they all kind of coincide like Storms abilities to generate lighting, storms, and fly.

Once I reach the training simulation room I'm surprised to see my dad along with a large black guy with an eye patch. I frown. "What's up Professor?" I ask.

Dad smiles knowing I like to keep things semi professional around strangers. "Arabelle this is Nick Fury. Fury, my daughter Arabelle."

I shake Fury's hands see a few glimpses into his thoughts but try to avoid them. They tell me he is called Director Fury more often than not and he is here for me. Specifically my ability to control emotions. Once he lets go of my hand I can feel how unimpressed he is with me.

I take no offense as I really don't look like much of a threat. 5 foot 4 inches, 145 pounds, long curly strawberry blonde hair, dark hazel eyes and glasses. I don't look like I can do much harm but I'm extremely hard to beat in a fight. After all how can you beat someone you cannot harm?

"So Director Fury, what exactly do you need me for?" I ask. My dad smirks a bit but Fury still remains unimpressed.

"I need a potentially dangerous agent brought in for a mission." Fury tells me.

"And you need my ability to control emotions." I state. "Why?"

"Not only that, we will need your shield ability as well. Frankly Miss Xavier we would like you to keep this specific agent in check. And of course you would join the team for this specific mission." Fury tells me.

I look at my dad who as always has no emotions on his face but I can feel his excitement for me and his worry for whatever Fury is referring too.

"You can trust him." I hear my dads voice in my mind.

"May I?" I ask and hold out my hand. He frowns radiating confusion. "I have telepathic abilities as well. They require contact."

He nods understanding what I mean and give me his hand. The second our skin touches my vision erupts with his memories.

An sgardian named Loki. A tessaract. A team to stop Loki called Avengers. Loki's brother Thor. Tony Stark aka Ironman. Steve Rogers aka Captain America. Clint Barton aka Hawkeye (compromised by Loki). Natasha Rominoff aka Black Widow. And finally the one I need to bring in. Bruce Banner aka Hulk.

There is so much anger and hatred in Banner. I can see why they need me. And I can see why they need Banner. They have no intention of releasing the Hulk. They know they can't control him. They need him to find the Tessaract.

After I learn everything I can about the team, Banner, and shield I drop Fury's hand. Only a few seconds have gone by for Fury and my dad. Feels like hours for me.

"I'll bring Banner in and keep his anger in control," I tell Fury. "On one condition."

"And that is?" He asks.

"I bring Banner in alone. No back up and no sending Romanoff with me." I feel his disapproval of me wain and his interest rise.

"Okay. Deal." He agrees.
