Chapter 2- Cookies
I sauntered over to the door and pulled it open to reveal a girl about my age standing with a plate of cookies in her hands. She had blonde hair and green eyes that looked into mine with boredome. She wore a tanktop and shorts seeing how it was so hot. "Hi. My name is Rachel and I live next door to you." she paused to see if I was going to say anything and when i didn't, she continued in a bored and unsure tone, "Anways, my mom made me come over to be neighborly and such. But to be honest I really don't want to-" She looked over and all the sudden pounced into the house and grabbed something off the shelf. Talk about disrepecting privacy. "OMG! Where did you get this?" She had grabbed my lucky doll off the shelf. I tried to grab it from her. "Hey don't touch that!" I finally pried it out of her hands petting the top of its yarn covered head. I used to sleep with it, but now I am a taad bit too old. We keep on the bookshelves since its small enough. "But those dolls were discontinued years ago!" Rachel screeched. "Yeah. I've had this doll since I was born." I said, trying not to laugh at her whiny tone. "you're not getting my doll or keeping it." "Ahhhhhh. But i've been searching for that for ages. I found that kind of doll on the internet two years ago and I really like it." she whined again. "Well, sweetie. We are not in Kindergarten anymore so you need to grow up because you're not getting my doll." I answered in a grown up tone to her like she was a little kid. "But I-" she strted to say as i pushed her out the door. Once she was on the porch, I finished her sentence for her, "Wanted to say good bye? Okay. Goodbye!" And with that, I slammed the door in her face.
