The Second Day

Mel's POV

When I woke up today I felt like it was going to be a great day because I had a great dream and I didn't feel as tired as I do in the morning and I got a good morning text message from Ryan and he said; Good morning gorgeous I hope you slept well and I had a great time with you yesterday and I hope you have no plans today except you know seeing your grandma, but text me when you're ready to go so we can go to school together❤. Today I decided to wear a white crop top,dark blue jeans, white high top sneakers, and a dark blue cardigan with my hair half up half down and I curled the bottom with a curling iron. After I got dress I packed my book bag went downstairs ate some breakfast and there was a note on the fridge from my parents saying; Hey Mel your mom and I had to leave a little early today to handle some buisness, we took moms car out the shop so that means you can drive your car now. Be safe and we'll see you at the hospital with grandma today. Love mom and pop❤. Then I texted Ryan saying to walk to my house (he only lived a block away) and we can drive my car.

5 mins later

Ryan: Hey Mel! You ready?
Mel: Yea let's go
Ryan:(walks to passenger side) Where's your parents?
Mel: (starting car)They said they had to take care of something before work today, but they're going to meet me at the hospital today.
Ryan: Okay cool but I do have football today so I'll either take my car to go see your grandma today or meet u at you house depending on how long you'll be there.
Mel: I mean if my parents are there they will definitely stay longer than me and take off of work to stay overnight with my grandma.
Ryan: Okay good, and are you trying out for volleyball Friday?
Mel: I am definitely thinking about it but that means I would have to go to the hospital at night.
Ryan: I'll come with you it'll be hard if we don't have games the same day but we'll definitely work it out. (Smiles)
Mel: I know(smiles)

At school
Principal: Good morning students it is Thursday September 16th and I would like for all the seniors to meet me in the auditorium at this moment.

Ryan:Hey that's us
Mel: Lol I guess so let's go!
Principal: Good morning seniors! The staff and I were thinking of having a sleep away trip the week of Halloween and it will be a lot of fun! There will be pranks,games,food, bonfires, and many more! You'll get the permission slips in your last period classroom. Its not mandatory but it will be a lot of fun. Have a good day see you around! (Bell rings)

Ryan: Are you going to the trip?
Mel: If you're going
Ryan: only if you are (smiles)
Mel: Hey do you wanna skip?
Ryan: (gasp) you ms.perfect wants to skip and its only her second day. (Chuckles)
Mel:(giggles) boy do you want to skip or not
Ryan: Fine let's go I'll race you to your car
Mel: we can't there's a security guard
Ryan: Just flirt with him a bit
Mel: yo he's like 30-40
Ryan: He maybe 30-40 but he's been starting you down since you came here yesteday
Mel: ugh fine (walk over to him) Hola my name is Melaney and I'm new to this school
Security Guard: I know who you are baby girl shouldn't u be getting to class
Mel: See about that (rubs his shoulder and stares into his eyes while smiling) my friend and I aren't really feeling school today
Security Guard: (bites lip) spin around for me slowly love
Mel:(turns around slowly) Can we go?
Security Guard: Sure but this conversation never happened
Mel:(signals Ryan) bye (smiles and runs away with Ryan)

In The Car
Mel: Where are we going?
Ryan: We could go to my house
Mel: Sure but, can u pack like a suitcase and leave it at your house just in case
Ryan: Sure I was gonna ask the same thing, not just for tonight anytime I just want to be closer to your pretty face.
Mel:(blushes)okay let's go to my house then we go to your house chill out and if we go back out drop your bag at my house
Ryan: cool.

So Ryan and Mel go to Mel's house so she can pack a suitcase and leave it at his house. Now they're at Ryan's house in his room watching TV.

Ryan: (turns off TV)
Mel: what the heck the spongebob movie was about to come on!
Ryan: I want to talk
Mel: About?
Ryan: I want to learn about you
Mel: and I want to lean about you
Ryan: Okay then so let's talk tell me everything about you.
Mel: Okay my full name is Melaney Hye Thompson. I am black and Korean I'm the only child. My favorite colors are black and red. I like to play basketball and volleyball. I am christain. I have family that live in Long island,Manhattan,South Carolina, and Korea. I like a lot of Korean food. I can dance I like to have my own swagger. I'm insecure,funny,hard headed,sweet,determined, and a lot of times to myself. O yea and my birthday is July 29th. Your turn!
Ryan: My full name is Ryan Antonio Johnson. I'm black and Italian. I play basketball and football. I love being healthy. I'm confident,nice, mean to stupid/annoying people, I don't like arguing, I'm sweet I guess, and I stay true to my friends. I have one brother and he graduated college like last year. I have family in Italy,Canada, and Long island. My birthday is July 9th. I love pasta and Italian food also I like Jamacian food. I'm a Christian I don't always go to church but doesn't mean I don't love God. What are some things you hate?
Mel: I hate fake people, people that purposely act stupid, people that pretend to be who they aren't, people that ask stupid questions, people that assume things,girls/guy that brag about being a cheater or a hoe,liars,fake friends,and people that purposely try to annoy me. How about you?
Ryan: Basically the same... What do you look for in a guy looks and personality wise.
Mel: For looks I like a guy who has nice eyes, hair for me to play in, nice lips, and abs. Personality I like a guy who can handle me,loyal,funny,talks to me about everything, listens to me,loves being around, gives me advice when I need it,can be my best friend and my boyfriend, and that's basically it. What do you like in a girl?
