Under this mask

A simple mask,

So plain and dull,

No facial expression,

Just pitch black like the midnight sky.

Behind this mask is a face,

Covered in guilt and shame,

It hides my negative emotions,

No one must know the truth.

So many questions in my mind,

Why did I do it? Shall I tell the truth?

Cannot seem to answer them,

So I just sit in a dark corner alone rocking back and forth. Paranoid.
