Back Again : A Sequel

PROLOGUE II

"KAORU! For the millionth time! Open this fucking door before I destroy this! Leader told me to call you!" Hidan's voice echoed through her room, waking her up from her strange dream.

"Fuck off Hidan!" She shouted back, trying to drown out Hidan's voice and tried to sleep again. She had a recurring dream about a lot of people and they were wearing Konoha's forehead protector. Who were those people anyway? The only people she knew that came from Konoha is Itachi and Sasuke. She doesn't have anything to do with the Konoha ninjas she kept on dreaming of, so why does she have that dream with strangers?

It was silent then, Hidan deciding to go away. But after a few minutes, there was a knock on her door.

"Nami, open the door. Leader's calling for you." The eldest Uchiha called out.

She groaned, kicking the covers off of her body.

Itachi heard some shuffling and grumbling inside the room of the youngest member of the Akatsuki, before the door opened.

A girl was frowning at Itachi as she straightened her usual ninja clothes. She didn't wear any forehead protector that had a long gash on the middle like them. She didn't have one of them.

She grew tall and strong. She had a stronger built after two years of training and having s-class missions. Itachi knew she had a lot of scars compared back then, a souvenir from all the battles she had. The more prominent out of it all is the vertical scar on her right eye. On one of her mismatched eyes.

Itachi started to walk through the hallways of the Akatsuki's main headquarters where they all lived. She was following him silently.

"Get out of your room, Nami. Right now." Itachi stopped, not even turning around.

Her clone groaned and disappeared in a poof before her room's door opened again. She walked towards him.

"Darn your senses." She muttered, earning an invisible smile from Itachi. "Why do you keep on calling me Nami anyway? My name is Kaoru. Who the heck is Nami?"

Itachi didn't answer. He can feel Tobi's glare on his back while they are walking on the hallway.

That's right. Nami is still alive. But the problem is that she can't remember everything.

And Tobi is making sure she will never remember.
