Chapter 24 - Mommy Horan

Niall's POV

This is it! My mother is officially meeting Harry, I'm excited and scared at the same time.

Excited because I want them to have a good connection and I'm scared because what if my mother isn't in favor of me and Harry being together?

'Niall hush, she won't be a barrier to us.' Jude said simply.

'How can you sure about that?' I mentally asked.

'Because we both know that Maura is a good person and she won't judge you.' Jude tried to convince me and I just nod.

'Now go and call Harry.' I nod and went out to call Harry from his house.

*ding dong*

A few seconds and then there's Harry dressed nicely and presentable.

"You look.... Amazing." I said and he blushed muttering a 'Thanks.'

"Is your mother there yet?" He asked and I shook my head.

"She went to the store first to buy something. The foods are cooked though." I said and he smiled. We went back to our house hand in hand while Jude smiling at us.

'Cute.' Jude mumbled.

"When will she arrive?" Harry asked again he seems nervous.

"Harry relax, everything is going to be okay. I promise." Not really, I'm nervous too.

I kissed him on the cheek and he smiled and hugged me.

After we pulled away, the doorbell rang signaling that my mother is here.

I went to greet my mother with Harry behind me. I hug her and so did Harry.

"Oh, Niall. Is this Harry?" My mother ask and I nod.

"Hi, I'm Maura, the last time we met I was in a hurry so I apologised. I'm so Happy to meet Jude's husband. I'm sorry for your lost." My mother said hugging Harry which he accepted warmly.

"It's okay Ms. Horan, I'm glad to finally meet you. Shall we take this to to the dining room?" Harry asked and my mother smiled and nod following them to the dining area. "And call me Maura dear." She added on the way. Harry smiled at her and nods.

"So Niall? How's your job?" Maura asked me.

"It was good Ma. My boss is nice to everyone." I said.

"That's nice to hear Niall." She smiled at me. "Mind if I ask this, but how did you met Jude, Harry?" She asked and Harry stayed silent for a moment and said.

"I met him when we were in high school.......Jude and I clicked on since then....... We finished college together..... Got married and..." She stopped Harry who is feeling uncomfortable and hesitating in every word.

"Shhh, it's okay. You don't need to tell the rest." She said softly and Harry smiled, I held his hand and assure him.

"Oh and Niall?" She turns to me.
"Got any special someone right now?" here we go.

"Uhhhhh.." I looked at Harry then back to my mother.

"Well...." should I say it? Is this the part where the downfall is going to happen?

"Me and Niall are dating." Harry spoked and my mother wide eyed staring at him then back to me.

"Ma please don't be mad." I said closing my eyes, I was expecting her to say something against our relationship but she's not.

"Oh my. I wasn't expecting this. What? But? How?" She asked amused.

"You're not mad?" I asked and she shook her head.

"Why would I be mad, but what about Jude? Isn't it a bit to early?" She ask Harry this time.

"I know it's early but whenever I'm with Niall, I feel all the things whenever I'm with my husband, I'm not using Niall just because he has something that resembles Jude but trust me, I love Niall, I love your son. I'll do anything to be with him." Harry said looking at my mothers eyes.

My mother stood up and sat between me and Harry.

"Look, I know loving two people is Hard. I've been there. I'm not saying that my love story is the same to you two. All I'm saying is that, if you love two person, you have to choose the only one that you will truly love and the other one, you have to let go for his own good. Now if you love Jude, even if he's gone now. You can stay loving him and reminisce all the things you two did or you can be with Niall, let your memories with Jude be just memories and build a new life with Niall, I'm not saying you should forget Jude. I'm telling you is that Niall is not Jude they are different, each people you love has their own love story." my mother said hugging us both.

Harry smiled and thanked my mother for that wonderful message.

"I am Happy with Niall." He looked at me with love in his eyes and that's the first time I saw it, its filled with Happiness, Love. My eyes were fixed on the clock, it was glowing white whatever that means I think it is a good sign.

"I'm happy for both of you." We continued our conversation of other stuff and some are from my childhood and Jude's childhood.

'Harry's happy. almost there.' Jude said who's sitting on the vacant chair facing me. He smiled at me and then that's I realized what's going to happen, he will be gone. Few more things to do and that's it. I'll have my one big wish and everything is back to normal. My eyes starts to water at the thought of that. Jude is a family to me.

"I'll just go to the bathroom." I excuse myself and I heard them continuing their own conversation.

I locked the bathroom door and tears starts to fall on my eyes.

'No......I can't lose him.' I said to no one.

I let the small drops of tears fall on to the carpet.

'Niall? Are you crying?' Jude suddenly appeared beside me.

'Of course you are I can feel it.' Jude said and hushed me.

'Shhhhh. We still have time together, right?.......Brother." He looked at me and I started to cry.

Brother, my good brother.

I manage to fix myself before going out of the bathroom and having a moment with my brother.

"Oh Niall just in time... I was about to tell Harry that you two should visit us I'm sure your brother would love to see you again and his son theo.." Maura said and I nod quickly and Harry who's telling my mother that it would be great.

"Yeah I miss them too.. It's been so long..Gosh I'm old." I mumbled and I heard them chuckled.

"Say that to me." Maura replied and we all laugh.

The dinn-

'You go eat with them Niall, I'll just narrate what is happening. You talk too much, go eat with them.' Jude barge in and I gave up.

'Yeah you should be.' Jude said as I rolled my eyes up to him and sat again to eat dinner.

"Niall what are you looking at?" Maura said curious.

"Oh nothing Ma. Let's eat."

(Jude's narrating)
Niall together with his Mother and my Husband Harry all sat together having a good laugh and here I am still wondering when will Louis notice O have feelings for him.

And also the clock Louis gave to us was glowing and it's a good sign. But I feel weird all of a sudden, I feel like something is going to happen. Maybe it's because the Botfly video I just watched on my Ipad, yes I can still use gadget and I'm updated. Gosh...you judge.

I hope this feeling isn't going to affect Niall's task.
