Halfway to Halloween and I decide Crab should be a goofy goober and cause chaos with cat in tow... And Turtle gets absolutely spoiled by him, as should be expected

"Turtle."
She was trying to sleep.
"Turtle, look. Look at the cat."
Just a few more minutes... Maybe he'd stop if she just kept sleeping...
"Tu~rtle..."
She could feel hair on her nose now.
Oh, screw it.
Finally opening her eyes, she could see Crab holding his cat, with...
It meowed as it wiggled in his grasp, a jack-o-lantern decoration covering its head like a helmet.
"Fuzzy, take it off."
"Why? It's funny, though."
"The cat's trying to take it off."
"That's the funny part."
She wanted to argue with him, but he had a point...in a way. "Okay, I get it."
"Alright, but look. Watch me put the cat down, and..."
He was slowly lowering the cat onto the ground, and she realized this wasn't going to be as funny as she initially thought.
"Fuzzy, this is a—"
"No, no, no, you have to watch, you have to watch—"
It was thrashing about now, as if shaking off the decoration was going to help in its situation.
"Fuzzy!"
"It's not going to hurt it, it's fine! Completely under control!"
That couldn't have come at a more inopportune time.
The cat bolted across the room, jumping on anything it could sense in spite of its impaired vision, landing far short of its aim and crashing into furniture left and right as it went.
"Turtle, I can assure you it looks bad, but in the end, we've still—"
At that moment, the cat flung itself towards the stairs in a last-ditch effort.
Now, it was only one flight of stairs, but a cat like this definitely should have been monitored or even made aware of what it possibly meant when under the circumstances it was facing at the moment.
The two fell into stunned silence as they could hear a series of thuds getting fainter and fainter as it went towards...
Oh no.
Turtle's mother was going to have her mental alarms blaring hearing all the noise.
The two looked at each other before they made the sprint themselves.
Reaching the pet store downstairs, the cat certainly appeared unharmed, with the decoration having a small dent in its side.
Turtle began to frantically apologize profusely in her native tongue, as if she was anticipating a scolding, as she scooped up the animal and finally freed it from its uncomfortable spot, all while Crab managed to come up with what to say.
"Hey, Turtle's mom! Yeah, it's kinda my fault for all this, I just wanted a laugh and, well... You know."
The tension in the air was thick enough that a knife wouldn't be able to cut it.
Did she ever punish her? He really didn't want that to be the case. Would she even punish him? Here he was, the "brash American boy", face-to-face with the traditional Japanese mother, who definitely wouldn't take any shit from him if he so much as—
She nodded.
All they got was a nod.
Oh, the sigh of relief was priceless. They were all cleared. No punishment. Just a sign that it was all good.
All good...
All—
Turtle's stomach growled, very loud, very persistent as usual.
Alligator was really about to be hangry from within her if she didn't get a satisfactory fill.
And she hadn't eaten since breakfast, either...
Of course, there was a solution.
She knew that solution, and Crab knew that solution.
Time to put a real big space to good use.
——————————————
She was so comfortable when she was so full and on the verge of transforming.
Tons of pounds of tough fat, yet it was so squishy, so perfect to sink in, keeping her from moving, but gave her a new purpose, to cushion herself, and serve as a cushion.
Before him...before Orcinus, she'd rather have been caught dead than let someone in on witnessing the level of indulgence she'd put herself through.
Something seemed different about today, though. It felt like Alligator wanted her to know.
They could both feel it.
But...
Was it really...?
"Fuzzy... One more..."
It took him by surprise. Her, wanting more? Just when he'd gotten her at the stopping point?
"Seriously? But... We never..."
"I'm ready. I want to finish this the only way it can logically go."
Yes, he'd definitely seen Alligator before. He'd done other things to make her come out.
But...with food?
"Turtle... I-I don't know if—"
"FEED ME!"
Yep, she was already coming out in other ways, might as well...
One last piece, slowly, reluctantly, hoping nothing went wrong...
And with one bite, the dragon fully made her presence known.
Orcinus was lucky in choosing this spot just for her, as her titanic, imposing, corpulent frame would have effortlessly destroyed anything else.
The change happened far faster than normal, almost as if she poofed into being instead of the usual slow metamorphosis.
Was it him, or... Was Alligator...actually more comfortable?
Her wagging tail was, of course, but her gut... Her gargantuan, sprawling balloon gut... It was...
It was almost like heaven.
When the other her came back, he probably would keep that a secret from her.
