Dean threw the door open and ran as fast as he could across the open drawbridge. Alice turned to run with him but her dress got caught on one of the screws in the door. Hope raised her sword.
"Bye sister!"
Alice yanked and pulled at the dress but it was stuck. Tears formed in her eyes as sweet beaded around her forehead.
"C'mon, c'mon please come off!! Please, please, I don't want to die!!" Alice muttered to herself. Finally the Queen brought down the sword just as Alice grabbed her knife and cut the part of her dress that was stuck. She scrambled to get up. The Queens sword pierced through Alice's wrist and part of her hand. She let out a scream of terror as blood leaked out everywhere on her. Sharp pain shot through her body and she clutched her arm tightly.
"AHH!" Alice winced as tears streamed down her face. Hope swung the sword once again but missed as Alice rolled over. She felt helpless, and her left arm was definitely useless. Despite the pain and blood coming from her arm, she stood up weakly and ran after Dean. The Queen was furious.
"I can't run in heels!!" She screeched. "GUARDS! AFTER THEM!!!"

Alice and Dean ran through the forest, ignoring all the branches wiping at their skin. Cold air grabbed at their skin and their breathing was heavy and uncontrollable.
"Alice!" Dean yelled as he glanced at her.
"What?"
"Y-you're hurt!!" He said as they kept on running.
"Yeah, I think I've noticed," Alice retorted. They got to the bottom of the Hill of Death when they heard something....it sounded like a bunch of animals running. Could it be a stampede? Alice squinted her eyes, but as soon as she saw why it was, her eyes widened in shock.
     "D-Dean, we have to go..."
"Why? You're hurt and we're at the bottom of the Hill--"
"No Dean, we have to go....now," Alice said firmly. But it was to late. All the guards from the castle came running towards them, their weapons ready for fighting.
"Oh shi---," Dean began to say but Alice cut him off.
"Dean we either have to go or we have to fight."
"I don't think we have much if a choice," he responded as a few poison arrows pierced the ground beside them.
     "RUN!!"
Alice and Dean began sprinting across Wonderland, looking back only to find that the guards were running directly after them.
"Do you know what time it is?" Dean asked. Suddenly...a part in Alice's brain flickered on...the killing side of her brain...and she stopped running.
"Alice?"

And she turned around with a murderous smile.

"It's killing time."
