Midnight Song

Hey everyone! This came to me while I was looking up fanfiction online! I hope you'll enjoy this!

Lucy stepped out of the inn herself and her guild was currently residing in and walked towards an open area. The moon shone its silvery light, illuminating the dark sky, she smiled to herself. How ironic, she thought, it was only yesterday when we fought the dragons and the moon was blood red, and yet I still admire it's beauty. Somewhere in the distance the clock began to chime. Midnight. Hearing this, Lucy began to to sing.

"Saita no no hana yo
Aa  douka oshiete okure
Hito wa naze  kizutsukeatte
Arasou no deshou"

She sang softly, almost in a whisper.

"Rin to saku hana yo
Soko kara nani ga mieru
Hito wa naze  yurushiau koto
Dekinai no deshou

Ame ga sugite natsu wa
Ao wo utsushita
Hitotsu ni natte
Chiisaku yureta
Watashi no mae de
Nani mo iwazu ni

Karete yuku tomo ni
Omae wa nani wo omou
Kotoba wo motanu sono ha de
Nanto ai wo tsutaeru"

Her voice got louder and could be heard throughout Crocus if you concentrated. While Lucy sang and danced to a melody only she could hear, a black haired teenager with one red eye showing watched the blonde.

"Natsu no hi wa kagette
Kaze ga nabiita
Futatsu kasanatte
Ikita akashi wo
Watashi wa utaou
Na mo naki mono no tame"

She ended almost silently, a lone tear sliding down her pale face.
