"Kelsey?"
"Uh..., oh yeah. Um.. where was I again?" I say soon realizing that I'm back at the police station, where it is safe.
"Well, you said that there were three people, one female and two male. The female has a Spanish accent and is in charge."
"Oh. Right. Well, when they got me, it was right after the homecoming football game. I was walking towards my car after a big win. I always park outside of where people park so I don't have to fight traffic. Anyways, I was just getting my keys out of my pocket and I heard something behind me. Next thing I know, I was in the back of a moving car."
"Do you remember anything about the car?"
"Can I just get a drink? I'm really thirsty."
"Kelsey, I know you don't want to, but you have to answer my questions. You can have a glass of water after this one."
"Okay. The van was dark, mainly because it was night, and there were no windows. I was the only one in the back of the car and, well, I was in a cage."
"A cage?"
"Yeah. It was like a dog kennel, but bigger than the one we had for my dog when I was about six."
"Alright. Anything else?"
"No. Can I have my water now?"
"Sure."
The two of us get up and go back down the stairs of the police station. I see my mom talking to a different man at the desk. They didn't seem to be talking about what we were talking about because whenever she does, she starts yelling and has an angry expression.
When she sees me, she comes over by me. "Hi, honey. Is everything okay? What are you doing down here?"
"Everything is fine. I'm getting a drink."
"Okay. I'll be down here if you need me."
"I know, mom." I say with a snarky tone.
When I'm done getting my drink of water, Olivia and I walk back upstairs to the lounge area.
"When you got to the- well- where did you go?"
"I arrived at a warehouse type building that seemed to be a lifetime away."
"Was there anything in the building?"
"Boxes and crates. There were also shelves to store smaller boxes and such. There was also a giant box that was about the size of the desk in mom's office area. There was also a room that was very dark except for the one light that shinned on me the whole time I was in there. I call that room the waiting room because I always just sat in there on my fold out chair. Oh! The chair! It had property of 'PLT' written on it! The warehouse could be the company of 'PLT', whatever that is. Or it could be initials!"
"Was there anything else? The letters 'PLT' are pretty simple. They could have stolen that chair, too." Olivia said. It came across as a dissapointment, but I ignored that.
"Um, well, no. There were no other signs of where we were."
"Alright. Let's continue your story then."
"Okay. I was in the waiting room. Gloria, the woman, came in and she looked pretty pleased with herself. She had on a grey-ish black shirt with stains on with camo shorts. She also had a bandana on her arm. She was sweating and had bruises up and down her arms as well. It sort of looked like she just got into a fight."
"Could you hear anything outside of the room?"
'No."
"Okay."
"Can I just go and save the rest for tomorrow?"
"Sure. I'll use some of this information to try and help the case. It means a lot that you came down to help us even if you didn't want to. This information will help us. Thanks again." Olivia said as the two of us were getting up to leave.
