Chapter 4: Beneath The Lies (Part 3)

                                         Sheriff: 1 dead, 3 wounded at a night out school attack

YOUNGSTEN, University. - An attack took a bizarre twist when 4 of the victims -- 1 dead, 3 wounded  were found at the university last night.

A girl found dead was believed to be the President of the Student Council of the school, which the investigators identified as Carly Huffman, and 3 more wounded victims, identified as Mara Braeden, Charlie Harper, and Will Edlund. The attack appears to be a prior case of murder and assault, played by the role of the still unknown killer.

The reason behind the killing is yet to be investigated, and upon the death of Carly Huffman, authorities and the investigation team have released few details about the attack, that took the life of Carly, and almost the lives of the 3 wounded victims.

The question is, what is the killer's motive? What is the real reason why this attack happened?  The killer is still out there. Who can it be?

- WILL'S POV-

The news about last night did a great impact not only through us but to the whole community. The last few days were a blur, and suddenly, after days of investigation, still the killer's identity wasn't unveiled. Mara recovered and she was put in the intensive care unit for fast recovery. It has been 3 weeks now since the attack, and i can't still remember what happened that night. Even Charlie.

Weeks passed by, and the whole community of Youngsten University mourns over the death of Carly. Many brought flowers, letters, and her pictures through the wall of the Student Council room. And we will have a lighting of candle tomorrow evening. Ally will lead the lighting of candle, in honor of Carly.

Many things happened since the attack. Carlson did recover, and she was happy that Mara survived. Mara was stabbed in the back, and luckily, the doctors said that she could've died because of blood loss, but the stabbed parts didn't have a bad impact on the other parts of her body. We want to forget, but how could we?

Now that we know that the killer is still out there. Who knows, maybe this isn't over.

As i was sitting and laid my back at Bonnie's couch in the living room, as i wait for her to finish her assignment, as i scrambled my thoughts, i wondered if the university is ready for the Foundation Ball, since it's only a week away. Speaking of Foundation Ball, the committee did a good job on the plan. Committee is the Student Council that i'm referring to. Even though they lost Carly, they still did plan on it. The nominees for the Homecoming King and Queen will be announced today, so Bonnie was expecting for a nomination, for she pushed us to vote for her as the Homecoming Queen. She had her squad to vote for her, and her bestfriend Cassidy, did support her all the way. In case you don't know, Bonnie was the queen B of the group. She was the famous one. And the mean one. In our group, she's the sub-alpha to Ally. Ally was the leader, and Bonnie was the queen B. Just for the fact, a leader is different for "queen". Bonnie described herself as a queen, so i won't be shocked if she gets nominated. I really don't care about the ball itself, for the purpose of it was to have fun, right? Sadly, she doesn't have any date yet for the ball, and she sat next to me to discuss about the usual plans about homecoming.

"What should i wear? Who will i bring to the Homecoming Foundation Ball? Ugh this thing is stressing me out lately.." Bonnie said, quite annoyed with everything.

"Why stress that much for the ball? Don't you have many important things to do?" I sighed.

If she wasn't my bestfriend, i would have kicked her annoying topic out of the house. Sadly, it's not my house, it's hers, and she's my bestfriend for years.
