15. Maccas (Part 2)

Finally I saw the large golden arches coming into view, my face cracked a smile at its sight. As soon as we pulled into the car park I jumped out and ran into the store that sold delicious food. Hearing Alec's deep laughs echo around me as I pushed open the clear door. Grabbing my phone out I opened the mcdonald's app and shook it waiting for my prize. A free small chips with a purchase of a McChicken meal. -_- . Putting my phone away I tried to hide my disappointment and walked over to the create you own burger machine.

God I loved making my own burger, the thrill of it had my fingers in tingles. You see I have this very minor addiction to Mcdonalds. That's why if my mum or Adam find out I was here they would be calling up a rehabilitation office to book me a meeting.

They always over exaggerate though, I only get a little bit happy and yeah you can't calm me down for a few hours then suddenly I sleep, wherever I am I just fall asleep straight out asleep.

Tapping away at the touch screen I felt Alec come up from behind me, tilting my head to look at him, I give him a small excited smile while he just shakes his head leaving against the pole waiting for me to order.

I began tapping again, I couldn't decide did I want red onions or cooked ones?, wait no I wanted eggs with it! YES! But wait will my avocado go well with that.. what a fancy bun ol la la this bun had better style than me, thats depressing. Should I make that a regular Frappuccino or a small red fanta?

"April.. hurry up school going to be out soon and were still here deciding on your order!" He replies with a puff.

"im sorry, I just couldn't choose between coffee or fanta" I say scrunching my eyebrows in thought.

Reaching over me he selects the red fanta and clicks check out. Hey!

"What if I didn't want that !" I complained

"Then I would drink it" He replied back smugly.

Taking a seat on the white shiny chairs I looked out the window and watched the kids play in the playground. I still remember falling asleep up there one time after my Mcdonalds freak out. Yeah we never returned here again. They had to call one of their workers to get me out because my parents didn't want to get themselves dirty. That was when I was 4 and interacted with the outside world. But I guess that stunt jeopardised any other time to interact.

Alec slid into the seat opposite me and placed the wooden board with my meal in front of me.

Not long and my food was gone.

Looking up Alec just started at me in perplexity, "I thought girls ate slowly not like me!" He said back in astonishment.

"No girls eat like that in front of guys, but when there alone or hungry yeah then don't underestimate us" I said to him with a grin.

"What so im not a guy?" He asked.

"Well thats up to you I guess never known what you can do these days" I replied back with a smug look of my own.

"Hmm yeah yeah" He said before scoffing down his own meal.

"Did you order a Happy Meal as well as that?" I asked him seeing as he got both.

"No, well yes but it's not for me, I got it for my little sister Bella, she loves their toys" He said looking at the toy with a small smile, probably thinking of her. He didn't strike me the type as a big older brother, well actually I never thought of it.

"Thats nice of you, is she your only sibling?" I asked.

"No I have an older brother Marcus he's 21, but in college. And yeah Bella who's turning 5 soon" He informed me.

"How sweet, you being a big brother" I cooed at him.

"Yeah, shes a special kid, you should meet her one day" He tells me.

"I would love too!" I tell him, I loved kids as long as they did not, cry, pee, ask me for my food, pick their nose, or drool on me. I thought shuddering at the thought of it.

The way back to school was spent in a comfortable silence.

Pulling into the carpark we realised we took up the whole school day and got back in time with the bell.

"Thank You Alec, I actually enjoyed myself" I said surprising both myself and him.

"Well i'm mighty glad of it" He said.

"Did you just say your mighty glad?" I asked cringing.

"I mighty well did"He said in a posh English accent.

Laughing I bid him goodbye just as a group of footballers called him over.

Turning on my feet I just realized he drove me in a car, meaning he had a car! Why was I still chaperoning him if he had a car!? I thought.

Stomping over to him and his group I tapped his shoulder and he turned around.

"Hey April" He said

"YOU HAVE A CAR?! BUT I'M STILL DRIVING YOU AROUND!" I screamed at him clearly annoyed

"Actually April that was my mates car Dylan, he said I could use his car today while he had footy practise after school" He said pointing at a tall guy.

Oh well that would make sense...

"Oh uhmm yeah.. Sorry I didn't know..." I trailed off embarrassed.

"Its fine I will see you tomorrow morning, I have a ride home" He said as I walked off.

Walking to my car I spotted an angry looking Aliah looking straight at me.

"Where have you been all day!" She shouted at me

"I was uhmm with Alec, we got maccas" I said looking down. I should of at least texted her and told her where I would be so she wouldn't freak.

Her eyes softened but she remained angry.

"I'm sorry Aliah I know I should of texted you" I sighed apologetically

"Well you can make it up to me.." She said

"Yes how could I do that?" I asked her

"I need a ride home.." She said

I just got rid of my chaperoning job for one day and it's already back in action.

"Sure" I said.

Jumping in my car we blasted the music up and we backed out of the school.

"Do you have a tissue?" She asked sniffling her nose.

"Uhmm yeah it should be aa in the front compartment." I replied.

Suddenly she went silent I And looked over at Aliah.

"What are these!?!?!" Aliah Said holding up my gun and sphere blades.
