The Pedophile Support Board

My personal experience is still not very deep, as I am still exploring this supposed wonderland. However one site that I think I should detail was something that I was ready to see. It started with me browsing through a chat room, and talking with some people trying to find some sites for use in this kind of work, and I asked for something relatively light as I was just beginning and would rather not scare off my audience right away. He gave me a link and said to explore the site in its entirety, I did. Like most .onion links it was just a bunch of letters and numbers so I honestly had no idea what I was getting into. 

What I stumbled into was simply a support site for pedophiles. I wanted to think it was a place for them to actually get psychological help, but considering where I was, I doubted it. I made an account, and started clicking through the tabs and exploring the site. First thing I found was actually what I wanted it to be, and it actually had a few posts. The posts mainly detailed several pedophiles exploits with children, and them confessing everything and getting help from various other members. I was actually kind of happy to see this.

I stand by my words when I say pedophiles aren't inherently evil. I know one, through a friend, who is one, that is actually a really nice guy. He completely and utterly hates himself, and barely makes enough to get by, yet donates as much as he can to charity. What charity or charities it is, I have no clue, but I think it would make sense that is was a charity that helps child abuse victims. I suppose while I'm writing this I should also state one more unpopular opinion, and I hope that at least a few people can agree with me on this. Also, before I say this, it IS illegal and just because you might share this opinion, or enjoy it, doesn't mean you should support the industry. I personally don't think child pornography is inherently wrong. As long as the child knows what he/she is doing, and also isn't being hurt or exploited in some way I don't see anything wrong with it. From what I hear a very small amount of it is what people call "hurt-core" which is the rape, beating, and generally evil things that people do to children for the sake of pornography. I think under the age of thirteen is a no go, because in most cases the child won't know what is going on, but around thirteen both genders are in puberty and should somewhat understand. I am by no means condoning the viewing, or creating, of child pornography, because it is still an illegal activity and more likely than not, you will be caught. 

Pedophiles may not be inherently evil, but rapists and people who molest certainly are. They take something pure and completely crush it, no matter the age. Unfortunately sometimes what a pedophile may think is consent, and sweet or something can have the same affect and that's why this is a tricky and extremely controversial topic.

With all of that being said that there were a small group of members of this site actually getting help within the site's confines. There were some other less clean boards. One of which required a paid membership, or an invitation, and since I had neither I won't be detailing what was going on in that board. 

The second board I went to I can only describe as disgusting. Anyone who is reading this is probably one of those people who likes to read or listen to those deep web horror stories. Well, I'm coming with a first account. While, I can only assume, the actual child pornography was being hidden behind the gates of the forum that I could not enter, what I read through was more than disturbing. It was basically more pedophiles talking, but these men (and women) weren't talking about getting psychological help. They were talking about ways to get away with having sex with children. Some of the threads were pretty innocent to be honest. Some twenty something year old man looking to get away with having sex with his fifteen year old girlfriend. Some men were planning on going to have sex with girls ages nine to fourteen. No talk of rape or "hurt-core" on this board, however some of them were somewhat disturbing in how they wanted to do it. Especially the twenty something year old man who claimed his girlfriend had "a fetish for rape." 

I move on to pastures anew and found another board, and here's where you will find the ones who may make up the minority of the pedophile population, but certainly are the most dangerous. There were some men talking about going out, finding random children and abducting them. They would then detail their plans, which usually had to do with sodomy, or forced vaginal intercourse (rape), beating them out of sexual pleasure, and someone was even talking about eating his victim. Although the supposed cannibal seemed to be the odd one out in the group. Keep in mind the ages for their victims were anywhere from age five to ten, so they were a lot younger than the average on the other board. There were also full names, IP addresses, and Facebook profiles being tossed around through here. Pictures too, some more lewd than others, but nothing totally pornographic. Mostly blurry pictures of them in swimsuits. 

I grew tired and decided that I wanted to lurk in a chat-room for a little while, I thought that would give me the last bit of information I would need for writing this chapter. Most of the chat-rooms were abandoned since most of the members here simply go through the forums. However I did lurk in one chat where three men were speaking of abducting a little girl for their own pleasure. They saw that I was in this chat-room and asked my input. I simply said that abduction wasn't my style, and told them to enjoy themselves. It made me wretch a bit to say that, simply  because I had been in that type of situation although in my case the men were younger. Leaving the chat-room felt good and I logged off for the night. 

How I said that though, there's a survival tip for you on the deep web, should you decide to enter. Sometimes you're among criminals, and sometimes you just gotta swallow all of your morals, be polite, and play the part until you can leave. That's the world of the deep web.
