"So was she ok?" Said the lady who lived next door called by the name Susanette. "Yeah, I guess. But it was only for that day. After all the trauma, she woke up in a cream color painted room. The room looked so dull and the atmosphere...for a moment she felt that she was all alone in that place. She could hear the cardiac monitor functioning beside her. She looked up at the ceiling when the door opened."

"Good afternoon dear, I hope you are feeling better today?" Asked the nurse holding a tray with a plate filled with rice and some chopped vegetables. She wanted to ask the nurse what was going on but as she spoke, she heard no words. That was weird. She attempted to speak again and nothing but silence is what she heard. "Darling," said the nurse putting her soft and cold hands on that girl's cheek "I'm sorry to say this but due to the accident, your brain has been affected a little and so your voice chords are unable to function. But the good thing is you will have your voice back after a few therapies!" Said the nurse, feeding her the first spoon of rice. The girl was still looking at her, helpless. She couldn't speak! A tear rolled down her cheek. She was angry at herself, at her faith. The nurse was called out by a doctor, maybe for some discussion. The nurse went out keeping the plate on the table near by and all the girl could do was stare in pain. She was still crying and looking at the door through the small square glass. She couldn't hear what they were talking about but she saw the nurse put her hand on her mouth with shock and the nurse then looked at her. She was confused and scared. She let out some more tears. And then, the nurse came in and said "I've got some bad news honey..." she was hesitant to let it all out but "Your parents couldn't make it." She instantly put her hands on her head. She couldn't let out voice from her throat but she screamed so hard in agony inside. She cried out her heart and then...fell unconcious.

"What about her brother? Was he fine?" Asked aunt Susie with a bit of curiousness. "When she opened her eyes again, he was the first thing she saw. He had tears in his eyes, his hands were on the girl's head slowly stroking her hair. She did feel a little relaxed but then she started to cry. Their parents left them...it happened all so fast. There was no time for them to say their goodbyes and love yous."

"Just forget that this happened, I want you to smile now!" She remembers her brother saying this to her, fighting back tears. He slowly kept his head on her's. She closed her eyes and clutched his hands tighter. She couldnt tell him how she felt. He is the only one she had now. She was really young, 7 years old I guess. He was 13 and still so strong. Thats the time she felt relieved because she felt she could trust her brother now, he was like her voice now. But still...
Something was incomplete
