CHAPTER FOUR

I Love You.

That is so much in those three simple words. He felt cheated. The stabbing emotions repeatedly caused his heart to break over and over again. He thought that those two years of relationship which he held was only the bubbles of dreams.

It had been another two years ever since then. He could still taste the bitter sweet feeling of that love.

Shivering scrolled down his shoulders as it jerked at his heart. Breathing deeply while he decided to start penning down again. This time round, he will write a thousand of words for the story. A story which could be the reason that stopped his writing.

'Grace' He named his novel.

Twisting of the fountain pen in his hand while he started thinking. Imaging of how the story being fold with the first date that printed deeply inside him.

As he scribbled, a tear stained the paper. Sniffing hard at the torments while he crushed himself. It was those scenes that he had buried deep beneath. They were so hard to replay again in his mind. Eyes blinked of the tears as he continued. It was not easy for him to move on. But if he couldn't, he would always stuck at the same spot which could bury him deeper.

Gulping down at the end of the papers with his words, the sun ray had glided in. The man that put through the pain had finally resolve his jobless situation. A smart brown casual coat matching a clean and white button shirt reflected on the long mirror in his wardrobe. He smiled, expressing his moving on.

Packing the manuscript as he prepared himself before going out. Heading to the publishing company that had been publishing his novels on behalf, his readers could finally get his new piece of work.

A lady strolled across the street, wandering at the crowds as she stopped in front of a book store. Looking at the book on display, she stared in moments of the title shown.

'Grace'

Her slender fingers touched the cover, feeling the familiarity of emotions. She pondered, wondering if she should purchase the novel.

After a long day out, she started settling all her groceries in the kitchen. Moving slowly with cautious, she sat down in her little family's apartment on her favorite arm chair.

Touching at her protruding belly while she whispered sweet nothings to her little life inside, she started absorbing the tales written. A day had passed and she was already on the last page. Her tears slide down from her rosy cheek, feeling the pain of the written paragraph.

'It will never be the same for me again. I had given all I had. Finding out the truth was nonetheless cruel but cold inside too. If I would be able to start all over again, knowing she had someone else. I would still choose the same that I am now. Because what love could give is not what the pain could change.'

She read and sobbed. The last sentence brought her to regrets for the man that she shouldn't have.

'The ring is still with me. I would never know if there will be a chance to put it on her finger even the waiting would last a life time long.'
