Do you ever get that feeling that you've done something bad, but it felt so right? Yeah, that's where I was at this point. I know Travis has a girlfriend and this is wrong. I mean they've been together for a long time, two years almost. I couldn't be the one to come in and ruin it all. I'm acting like the type of girl I hate. I knew what it was like to be cheated on. I knew that pain and I swore that would never be me. And now look what I just did! It's not like I had guys all over me all the time. Yeah it would be nice to get some attention now and then, but not from a guy dating someone.
My phone went off pretty much giving me a heart attack. My hand flew to my chest as I gasped just in case my heart jumped out. I took a deep breath before getting up and grabbing my phone off of my desk. My stomach does a little flip when I read the name 'Travis'.
'Hey did you make it home okay?(:'
-Travis
I can't help but give a small smile and shake my head as I reply.
'Ha um Trav you dropped me off like five feet away from my door.'
-Jordan
'I know but I just want to make sure.(:'
-Travis
'Yes Travis I made it home okay.(:'
-Jordan
We talked throughout the whole night talking about nothing in particular. It was pretty much a replay of the first night we had started talking again. I was sending another message to Travis when I heard something hit my window. I figured it was nothing, and if it was something I was screwed, mom was passed out in her room and her and I were the only ones in the house. I hit send as I heard the noise again. I hated looking out my window at night, I don't know why I just did.
I slowly walked over to my window and pulled the curtains back to see an empty street. I figured it was just a tree branch from the huge tree on the side of my room hitting my window. As soon as I re-closed the curtains I heard the noise again. My phone buzzed on my bed I walked over and picked it up. Who was calling me this late? I answered the phone without looking at the caller I.D.
"Hello?"
"Hey Jordan, What's up?"
"Travis? Why are you calling me?"
"Look out your window."
"Ha uhm I'd rather not. That's like the typical horror movie Travis. Girl gets phone call, girl looks out window late at night, scary guy is at window, and BOOM she's dead!"
Travis chuckled," Ha that's not going to happen trust me. Now open your window it's getting cold."
"Wait- What?"
I walked over to my window pull open the curtains and open the window to see Travis sitting on a branch on the tree. I hung up the phone and looked at him like he's insane. He gave me a smug look as he moved on the branches like it was no problem trying to balance as he moved closer to my window.
As he swung one leg over the window pane and into my room I stepped in front of him so he couldn't come all the way in my room. "What the hell man?" I stared at him like he was insane.
He pushed me aside as he softly laughed and hopped all the way in my room. "What? Did you have any other plans?"
I stare at him standing in my room. "Travis if my mom finds out you're here she'll kill me! And you!"
"Well then stop yelling and she won't know I'm here."
He shot me a half-smile, which by the way looked amazingly sexy on him, as he walked over and flopped onto my bed. I stood still by the window and looked at him in astonishment. I wanted to know why he was in my room. What he wanted and when he was going to leave but I couldn't say anything.
