CHAPTER TWO

The lights were dim, hanging above him while they shone so beautiful. With the eyes flashed against his broken heart, he woke up again.

Eyes widened. Staring at the white ceiling, he had the dream again.

Those were the lighting of that small and romantic restaurant which he had the seventeenth date. She sat on the chair with her long and wavy brown chestnut color hair lying so sexy on her fair shoulder. She had that sweet smile when her eyes noticed his arrival. Her fingers waved at him as he sat in opposite hers.

"My name is Marvel, Marvel Aniston" His hand shake hers, as a stream of electric wave flows across the touch.

She nodded in reply. Her sapphire eyes that fluttered with long and dark eye lashes were not only a part of admiration. They were like her soul, the dancing spirit which he enjoys.

"Call me Grace" She spoke, short and simple. She didn't introduce herself in a formal way. He wondered if it was because she had a long and complicated name.

The conversation sparkled the chemistry between them as a positive beginning. That dinner led to a second date as soon they evolved into a relationship.

As for him, it was his first time having this strange chemistry that could change his belief.

--

They both love writing. Love letters were their communication bridge. They acted like long-distance relationship lovers whom got so excited when the letters arrived at their mail box.

How many have they written?

Thousands, he would estimate. While his eyes strained at the big and white paper box that stationed underneath his working desk.

There was one which was significant,

'I am wishing tonight for the stars to shine upon you. You will feel the warmth in your blanket like my cuddles that accompany you through the cold nights. I miss you so much just like how much the snow that is stackling at your housedoor staircase steps. Your Always Love, Grace'

That was the night which he watched his only kin, his mother left him. Her eyes shut tight and she lay immobile on that lonely bed.

The snow sent him to extreme temperature of his heart. It was freezing with heart aches as he couldn't accept the sudden lost of his mother. There were so many things that he wanted to do for her but it was all too late.

"Grace, can we meet up now?" His tears jerked at his voice after her love letter arrived.

He couldn't lose anything that was important to him already. He need to embrace her in his warmth, protecting her and shower her a life time of happiness.
