in love with the wrong person

EXAMINATION

I unlocked the front door and the second I walked in I took of my shoes and unzipped my skirt, I got in my room and I changed. I put on some gray sweatpants along with a t-shirt and caught my hair in a bun.

" Ugh why can't I ever catch my hair properly?" I wondered when I saw the outcome but I walked away from the mirror since I concluded it's bad for my self esteem.

I decided to go outside since it wasn't that sunny outside, as I walked I got a phonecall from the hospital. making me frown.

" Hello, Hanna speaking" I said looking outside while bitting my nails.

" Miss Hanna we would like to remind you that you have an appointment tomorrow at 10 am " a woman said and juding from her voice she must be at least 35.

" Okey I will be there" I said and hung up with a sigh because my mood was ruined, I hated those check ups.

" Why did I let Neymar convince me? " I said looking at the black tv screen and then I decided to watch a movie.

When I finished the movie my eyes were red and my breathing was as if I had an asthma atack but it was worth it. When I callmed myself I checked my phone and saw that I had 5 missed calls from Neymar and 10 text messages, which was slightly scary.

" I have had one missed call from my mom and I was less scared" I said as seriously as possible but I ended up smiling.

" I was worried that's all" he said sweetly making me smile even more if possible.

"Well I'm alive so anything specific you want to tell me? " I said lying down looking at the ceiling.

" Yeah did they remind you to go to the hospital tommorow" he said and I nodded but I realized that he couldn't see me.

" Yeah well I have told you a million times that I couldn't breathe because I was running " I said getting up and going to the kitchen.

" Yeah it didn't look like it, trust me I run more distance than you did and my breathing was fine" he said and I took a sip from water.

" Keep in mind that you're an athlete" I said putting my cup down.

" I'm sorry, I didn't mean it like that" he said with a sigh.

" I'm sorry too" I said and I could feel him smile.

" Well I want to add something else, you are terrible when it comes to applying concealer" he said and I frowned.

" It was actually obvious that you had less than an hour of sleep so you better call it a day when we hung up" he said making me groan.

" Ok mum, goodnight" I said with a smile and I hung up before he could answer.

" Really why did I have to let him convince me? " I said putting on my clothes and went in my car.

I drove to the hospital and when I checked what time it was  sighed, I was half an hour early. I walked inside though knowing that Neymar would call the hospital at 10:01 to see if I'm there.

" Miss Hanna it's time" a nurse said and I realized she was the same woman from yesterday.

I got up and I had a huge smile on my face because I was totally right she did look 35. I got in and there was a doctor waiting for me, I have to addmit he was cute. he was really tall and he had jet black hair along with blue eyes. Moreover when he had this reassuring smile that everything would be Ok.

" Hi you must be Hanna I'm doctor Waters and I will examine you" he said and showed me a bed that looked highly uncomfortable but I sat down anyway.

After he examined me he looked weird and it made me worry even more but he smiled and I calmed down a bit.

" I hope you haven't planned anything else madame but I really need you to have a radiography is that OK with you? " he said and I nodded trying to keep a straight face but I was panicking on the inside.

We walked outside the room I saw Neymar waiting with my favorite chocolate and when he saw me he walked up to me but he stopped when he saw the doctor behind me his smile disappeared and he had a more concered look on.

" Hanna are you OK? where is he taking you is it anything serious that I have to know" he said and for the first time I saw him being on the verge of a panic attack something that I thought I'd never see.

" Neymar I'm ok the doctor is just taking me for a radiography it's probably part of the examination" I said looking in his hazel eyes and touched his cheeck to reassure him.

" OK I will wait here" he said with a sad look and sat back down and the doctor touched my back so I kept walking.

" Lie down please" he sad and I obeyed, then he adjusted the machine so that it was facing my breastplate. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes in order to regulate my breathing.

"May I call you Hanna, please? " he said and I nodded getting up.

"Good let's go to my office I need to talk to you" he said and I walked outside and headed to his office. Once again when Neymar saw me his face lit up but he stopped smiling when he saw me go in the doctors office once again.

I sat down and waited for him to prepare his speech that I have to eat less french fries and more salad. But guess what I don't care others have tried to convince me in the past but their attempts were futile.

" Hanna I don't really know how to put this" he started and something told me that he wasn't going to preach to me about eating helthily.

" You have lung cancer, and it's in such a place that it can't be treated with surgery and all we can do is precript some drugs and see if they work" he said and when he said that I have cancer and I would most probably die my heart fell into a black endless abyss and I had to hold back my tears.

" I'm sorry, I'm not that weak but I can't fight it right now" struggling to sound as normal as possible but he just nodded getting up.

" I understand" he said touching my shoulder understandingly making me smile.

I took a deep breath and got up blinking away my tears. I took my bag, thanked doctor Waters for being honest with me, and walked towards the door I took a deep breath and opened the door. Then I saw Neymar waiting for me, he was texting someone but when I said his name his face lit up and he seemed so happy to see me.

" I got your favorite chocolate" he said and gave it to me. We walked outside and we sat down and shared it like little kids insisting on sharing something.

" Ugh this chocolate is so good" I said and he giggled.

" I want to tell you something" he said looking deeply in my eyes.

" I love you Hanna" he said and I was shocked to hear that.

" I love you more than you can imagine and I want you to know that if I could I would give you every single star that there is in the universe so will you go out with me tonight? " he asked taking me hand in his warm ones making me smile.

" Yes I will go out with you toinight" I said and when he smiled I noticed how warm it seemed and happy like he had everything he needed right in front of him and at that moment I decided that I would never tell him about me, he didn't desrve such pain.

I drove to my house and Neymars car was right behind me, maing me nervous for some reason. we reached my house and I got out and walked to my door when Neymar caught up with me.

" I'm sorry I can't resist the temptation" he said and he kissed me with such love that I thought my heart would explode and honestly I didn't care if people were watching us right now or if they were taking pictures uploading them on instagram or tweeter.

" I love you and I will pick you up at 10 " he said and got in his car again driving off still leaving me staring like an idiot.
