I'll change who I am,
I promise I will.
I will dress neatly every day,
to look into a mirror that's clean and freshly sprayed,
I will put on so much makeup,
it will hide my identity,
It will hide my disgust-for who I used to be.
Where I belong
I can't change where I belong,
But I promise I'll remove every trace of it from me,
I will be so different-from how the world used to know me,
I'll become someone I always dreamt of becoming,
And I'll look with disgust at people,
Who'll be just like I used to be,
I'll meet new people forever
and they will be close to me but,
Where I belong?
That will be my most hidden identity.
I will move to big cities,
and live in a flat that's cleanly coloured white,
And then leave the place forever,
when it gets the hint of my scent.
The blood I belong to
I hate the smell of it,
when it starts reaching me,
So, I'll stay away from people, having the same blood as me.
Lack of what could kill me,
is the reason even time can't heal me,
So, I'll stop hurting myself,
That way, I won't have to see the blood,
But again-I taste of it,
& I can't erase it from my heart.
So, I'll live with it & let it end with me,
Cuz, I want no one to be known,
For being from the world,
I Once Belonged.
