"Ayce, can you please freaking shut the hell up!" Ayce best friend, Cindy, shouted as she put down her comb, glaring at her best friend who is lying on the bed as she turn around,

The blonde girl sat up, lazily as she rubbed her eyes while muffling a moan, "what do you want?" She asked her eyes are still close

"Just shut up and read a new book; if you have one though." She said as she fixed her make up

Ayce yawn, "I always have new book, and how can you tell me to shut up when I'm obviously sleeping peacefully."

"Well you're sleep talking— or maybe shouting." The brunette said as she grabbed her phone

Ayce rolled her eyes, "whatever, where are you going anyway?" She asked as she lie down on her bed once again

"To my locker, Enric is waiting for me—"

The blonde girl get out pf the bed,"come on, I'll come with you." She grinned

"What is it the you want?"

Ayce smiled at her sheepishly, "no need to know, we need to go now, you're lovely boyfriend is waiting for you already," she said before pushing her best friend out of the room

Cindy sigh as she let her friend drag her all the way to the locker where her boyfriend is leaning on, his arms crossed as he looked up to meet her gaze, Cindy smiled and walked to her boyfriend and they started talking which means Ayce is being a third wheel why she stands a few meters away from the couple who are actually being so lovely and cute, which is apparently not her.

She looked around to see that only few people are left in the corridor which means they need to go now. She looked at her friend and her boyfriend before smiling as she saw them beed their goodbyes

"To the bookstore" she whispers, but before she could ever drag her best friend, the couple shared a kiss, making Ayce gasped and shut her eyes, "stop kissing in front of me! It's disgusting seriously!" She hissed as she tugged on her friend,

The couple broke the kiss off and went off.

"I can't believe you ruined that sweet moment!" Cindy said frustrated

Ayce just scoff, "I cant believe you two did that 'weird—sharing—of—salivas' in front of your best friend!"

"You sure you can read all of this?" Carlos, who happens to be at the same store with Mal said, as he stood by Ayce,

Ayce just glared at the boy before rolling her eyes and ignoring the boy's comments

Carlos was laughing his ass off until Mal came up to him and slap his cheek, making him stop and hold on his right cheek, he hissed in pain as he glared at the purple headed girl that is standing in front of him,"what was that for?" He asked

"You dweeb, you shouldn't do that you dipshi—"

"Fine!"

Ayce can't help but laugh as she saw his reaction

Carlos gritted his teeth, "why are you laughing?!" He said, his eyes staring intensely that it can drew holes to your body

Ayce just shrugged her shoulders, "You don't have to know," Ayce spat, before pulling a face in front of Carlos

"Hey—"

"Thanks!" Ayce said as Casper came and cut Carlos off, by getting the books that are placed on the counter,

Casper then smiled as he walked off, Ayce along with her best friend followed the boy who is already exiting the shop,

Ayce just smirked as she looked over the second aisle where Carlos and Mal stands, there you can see a dumbfounded boy with black and white hair, Ayce chuckled to herself as she clicked her tongue, "dweeb."

"Mal, why do you girls like you love books so much?" Carlos asked innocently as he placed the books that Mal bought earlier at the bookstore,

Mal smirked, "it's best to keep it that way."

Carlos looks so confused as he look over his shoulder where Mal is sitting peacefully on her bed with an old book on her right hand and her left hand twirls as she continued to mutter words that he cannot understand, Mal continued as streaks of neon green appear on her fingers, swaying along with her fingers.

"Why?"

Mall ignored the boy as she continued murmuring spells that she might use later on.

"I mean, even Jay can't even finish a book that thick in a year," Carlos said, enough for his words to echo all around the huge room,

Mal sighed as she stopped what she was doing, obviously annoyed at the boy who's rambling nonsense nonstop.

"Girls like Ayce is the perfect definition of 'hard to get' they are the ones who value the quote, 'books before guys' and now that you know, can you please shut—" the purple headed girl was cut off with the door opening with a loud thud, revealing a blue haired girl and a brown haired boy

"What are you guys talking about?" Evie, beamed as she sat on her bed that was across Mal's

"Nothing, just the normal things that a friend talks about with her weird friend." Mal said

"What is it exactly?"

Mal shrugged, "Carlos, was just asking about why girls—particularly Ayce— likes to read so much."

Evie squealed as her eyes lit up, she then wiggle her eyebrows at Carlos, "so do you think Ayce is pretty? Yes or definitely yes?"

Carlos rolled his eyes, "no." He said nonchalantly

"Oh please Carlos, don't lie to yourself. We know you like her." Jay said, as he crossed his arms, Carlos on the other hand had his blood rushing up to his face, oh no.

"O-of course not! I-I don't like that n-nerd." Carlos stutter

Evie laughed, "Oh Carlos, I hate to break it to you but—" she paused as she purses her lips back, making Carlos avert his attention to her

"But what?"

Evie smirk evilly as she stare at the boy, "that you are already falling in love with your enemy."

"No I'm not!"

"If you're not falling in love with her or whatsoever, why are you so interested in her?"

Carlos gulped, "I was just asking!"
