Hate Me, Love Me

The school corridors were already crowded that morning.

Students moved between classrooms, talking, laughing, and rushing to their lessons.

But when a familiar figure appeared at the end of the corridor, the atmosphere seemed to change.

Pond was walking confidently beside Neo, his school friend,

with his hands casually in his pockets.

He carried himself like someone who knew exactly how much attention he received.

And everyone knew better than to get in his way.

"Pond's here!"

"Wow... he looks so handsome, as always."

"Good morning, Pond!"

Pond simply smiled and waved at the students who greeted him.

When a few girls called his name excitedly, he gave them a playful wink.

The girls immediately started whispering among themselves.

Neo shook his head.

"You really enjoy the attention, don't you?"

Pond smirked.

"Why wouldn't I?"

They reached their classroom.

The moment Pond stepped inside, his eyes moved around the room.

Then he spotted someone.

His target.

The boy was sitting quietly in the corner.

Pond walked straight toward him.

The boy looked up nervously when Pond stopped beside his desk.

Pond kicked the side of the desk hard enough to make the boy flinch.

"What's up, gay?"

The boy immediately lowered his eyes.

"What are you doing?" Pond asked with a mocking smile. "Thinking about some guy again?"

A few students glanced over.

Pond continued, "Disgusting."

"Do you like to suck other guy's dick"

pond said this and started laughing.

The boy's eyes filled with tears.

Pond rolled his eyes.

"Seriously... what a pathetic guy."

He turned away as if the whole thing meant nothing.

Neo had witnessed everything, but he didn't say anything.

He simply walked toward his usual seat.

Pond dropped into his chair and leaned back comfortably, while Neo sat in front of him.

At the very back of the classroom, however, someone had been watching the entire scene.

Phuwin.

He sat quietly in the last row, his books arranged neatly on his desk.

He had seen everything.

His hands slowly tightened around the bottom of his shirt.

Stay calm.

Don't react.

Phuwin lowered his gaze.

There was something Pond didn't know.

Something he could never find out.

He doesn't know that I like boys too.

Phuwin swallowed nervously.

I just have to keep this secret.

That's all.

I need to get through high school without anyone finding out.

He had spent so much time being careful.

He knew what Pond was like, and he had no intention of becoming Pond's next target.

So Phuwin forced himself to look somewhere else.

His eyes landed on Neo.

For a moment, his expression softened.

Neo was sitting at his desk, quietly going through his notebook.

He looks so good...

A small smile appeared on Phuwin's face.

He quickly realized he was staring and tried to look away.

But at that exact moment, Pond suddenly turned around.

Phuwin's heart jumped.

He immediately lowered his head and pretended to focus on his book.

But Pond wasn't looking at him.

Instead, Pond was looking toward the same boy he had bothered earlier.

The boy was still sitting quietly, trying his best to avoid attention.

Pond stared at him for a moment.

Then he slowly mouthed two words.

"Gay Bastard"

The boy understood what he was saying.

His expression immediately changed, and he looked down at his desk.

Phuwin watched silently from the back.

His fingers tightened around his pen.

He didn't want to become part of Pond's world.

He didn't want anyone to know his secret.

For now, staying quiet felt like the only way to protect himself.

And as the teacher finally entered the classroom, Phuwin opened his book and forced himself to concentrate.

But somewhere inside, one thought remained impossible to ignore:

How long can I keep hiding who I really am?
