Hunting Heichou

It was one of the best days for Levi's squad. Firstly, because tomorrow was a free day where they can just relax and not train or clean. Secondly, Levi wasn't there to train them or force them to clean for hours. They didn't have Levi there to scold Sasha and Connie when they were goofing off instead of training. It was dinner now and the day had gone smoothly and more relaxed then with the short but terrifying man watching over them. Though the cadets were glad to have a break from their original Corporal they were also curious to why he wasn't here.

"Man I'm so happy to finally get a break." Connie said sitting down next to his best potato loving friend Sasha.

"I'm gonna go buy all the food I can tomorrow!" Sasha drooled.

Armin looked around the room curiously. He was looking for Levi but didn't see him. "Corporal is still gone."

"So what?" Eren said eating some of his soup.

"Where do you think he is?"

"I don't know, probably doing something important for Commander Erwin."

Armin sat quietly thinking when he saw Hanji pass. "Hanji!" Armin stood and waved at her.

"Hey Armin, what's up?" Hanji said walking over.

"Do you know where Corporal Levi is?"

"The Corporal huh." She put her forearms on the table leaning in so only their table could hear, "You know, I saw him yesterday night and he seemed to be in big hurry. He almost look...worried."

They all looked at her in shock, "Why would he be worried?" Eren asked surprised.

"Did something happen?"Jean asked.

"Well, I might of over heard Levi and Erwin talking."

"What did you hear?!" Connie questioned curiously.

"I'm pretty sure Levi was saying he had to go to his home, in the Karanese district."

"He has a house in the Karanese district?" Sahsa asked crumbs falling from her mouth.

"But why?" Mikasa joined the conversation after sitting quietly for so long.

"Well I think I heard something about family."

"Do you think..." Armin paused.

"Does Levi have a family?" Eren finished for Armin.

Hanji stood up straight and pushed up her glasses, "There's only one why to find out!"

~Time Skip to next day in Karanese district~

~Eren's POV~

When we got to the Karanese district we first took our horses to a stable for safe keeping. "Hey, this is the Corporals horse." Connie said pointing at one of the other horses in the stable.

"Ah ha! So he's here after all!" Hanji said excitedly.

"So how are we suppose to find him anyway?" Jean asked.

"Uhh..." We all mentally face palmed at Hanji, "we'll take a look around, I'm sure we'll find him sooner or later." Everyone sighed and with that we left to find our short Corporal.

We walked around town for about half an hour and still haven't found him. "Hanji, maybe we should try-" I started but was cut off by Hanji shushing me.

I was about to question her when she shushed me again and pointed toward the market crowd. We all looked to where she was pointing and there, with a small basket of things, was Levi. He wasn't wearing his uniform but instead a more casual outfit. He paid for something and turned to leave.

"Let's go say hi." Sasha stepped forward only to be stopped by Hanji.

"No, we should follow and see where he's going." So we decided to secretly follow him, but I was already regretting this decision.

He suddenly stopped and looked back. We all ducked behind a wall hoping he didn't see us. 'We're screwed!' I thought and peered over the edge of the wall. He just looked forward again and turned the corner. We quickly followed and looked over the corner to see him opening the door to a house and going in.

"That must be his home!" Hanji squealed.

"Now what?" Armin asked.

"We go to his house of course!" Hanji marched toward the small home.

"It was a bad idea to follow her here." Mikasa said as we walked after Hanji.

~Annabell's POV~

"Its about time your back." I said to Levi as he closed the door. He set the basket on the table and started to put out all the ingredients. I stood from my chair and got a pot to fill with hot water but it was taken from me.

"I'll cook, go sit down." He put the pot in the sink and turned on the water. While waiting for the pot to fill he put on a cooking apron and got a cutting board.

"Just because I'm pregnant doesn't mean I can't cook." I pouted.

"I never said that."

"You never let me do anything when I'm pregnant. I can't just sit here all day, I have to do something." I complained.

He didn't say anything, he just continued to cut things and put it in the pot of boiling water. I sighed about to give up and sit back down when there was a knock on the door. "Ooh, I'll get it!" I yelled waddling as fast as I could to the door.

I opened it just enough to show me but not anything else in the house. "Yes?"

~Normal POV~

"Yes?" Annabell was surprised to see so many people at her house at once.

The cadets and Hanji stared back at her also surprised, but it was because there was a pregnant woman answering the door of Levi's home.

"Your...your pregnant..." Eren said starting at her oversized stomach area.

Annabell gave him an annoyed glare, "Yes, thank you for pointing that out. Good bye." She was about to slam the door but Hanji jumped between the door and the door frame, "Wait! We're here for Levi Ackerman!"

Annabell paused for a second, then narrowed her eyes at her. "Why? Who the hell are you people?"

"We're friends, I'm Hanji Zoe and this is his squad." She pointed at the others.

Annabell looks at each of them and then back to Hanji, "So which one is Eren Jaeger?"

"Uh, I am." Eren raised his hand.

Annabell gave a small smirk, "So my husband beat the shit out of you, huh." She chuckled and opened the door all the way, "Ok, I guess you all can come in."
