"YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!!" Cain shouted as he was running for his life.

Since he left Hell to search for Uriel, more than two months have passed. He was using the device prepared by God to move through different planets and each one of them was different. So far he landed on a planet almost entirely covered in water and almost drowned, as he was still afraid of water. Another one was a complete jungle with bugs bigger than him. Yet another one was a complete dessert. And on each of those planets he found no life other than a few unintelligent animals.

He barely landed in another place, thinking that he'll have some break, when suddenly something came out from behind the trees. Cain was just setting his backpack aside to sit down when he felt a gust of warm wind on his neck. He turned around to see something that looked like a miniature version of a t-rex.

"Hey, little guy?" He asked awkwardly as the animal was looking at him curiously.

Neither of them moved. The animal was wary of the demon, while Cain was thinking whether he read anything about a planet with miniature dinosaurs. He almost memorised the guide that God prepared for him when he was departing. He remembered that there was something about a planet having an environment similar to the Cretaceous period on earth but nothing about miniatures....

His confusion disappeared a moment later when the ground started to shake. He moved his sight toward the trees to see almost a four metre tall T-rex, forcing her way through. Cain looked between the small dinosaur and the big one before his eye twitched in annoyance.

"Mama's here?" He asked, but only earned a tilt of the head from the child. He then looked back at the big dinosaur, only to see it open its mouth to roar. The sound was piercing and Cain had to cover his ears as he was getting up. He grabbed his backpack and started to run with all his might.

And this is how he found himself in this situation. Being chased by a T-rex, who didn't want to abandon the chase. In normal circumstances he would have already sliced it with his sword, however there were a few rules he was supposed to follow. And one of them said to not interfere too much into the worlds he visited. This included no killing any living beings.

"Leave...me...alone...already..." The demon uttered between breaths. The dinosaur was chasing him for the past ten minutes. Cain didn't even have the time to write a simple spell.

The demon was frantically looking around for any place to hide when he saw something that looked like a crack in the ground. He passed it while running, but when he saw that it was wide enough for him to hide in, he turned around and started running back. The dinosaur was right behind him so he basically had to slide on the ground between its legs to reach the hiding spot. He was already making a victory laugh as he successfully went inside, when he felt his backpack catching onto a piece of rock. He was hanging on the strap, trying to free it, when suddenly everything got dark as the dinosaur fully covered the entrance with its head.

Cain didn't dare to move. He once read that dinosaurs could only see the objects that moved. And it seemed that it was the truth. The t-rex sniffed a few times before raising its head up and starting to walk away. However, to Cain's disdain, she stepped right onto his backpack. When she removed her leg, it was finally released as the stone crumbled, and the demon started to fall down. It seemed that the crack was in fact an entrance to quite a big cave.

The demon fell at least six metres down and hit the ground with a groan.

"Fuck..." He uttered as he slowly sat up. He first checked whether he could move just fine before writing a few lines in the air. When he did, a ball of light appeared over his head, illuminating the cave. It was quite big with smooth walls, which were slightly wet. Cain furrowed his eyebrows. The ground was wet too. Something like a warning appeared in his head but it quickly disappeared when he saw his backpack, lying just a metre away from him. It was squished.
