warning: Violence/death of non major character in this chapter.
I remember being called as a bad omen... a curse... a being that brings death to everyone close to him.
They mocked me... they isolated me... they threw stones at me... they tried to force me out of their village...
But...
She always stood against them...
My precious sister...
As the time passed, the malice faded... silenced in back of my mind, like how a pain would be forgotten due to adrenaline... it became ordinary that was no longer there...
My sister worked in a weaving shop, she left before dawn and returned after dusk had fallen...
Her hands grew rough from threads...
Her back aching from hard work...
Her body has become like bones...
But her smile never faded... she smiled to me, her younger brother...
Her answer to every proposal was same as always...
"I'm sorry... my younger brother still needs me."
She was starting to grow old...
Till she found Tohma-san...
A good merchant from another village that moved here...
He and my sister fell in love quickly...
When Tohma-san proposed to my sister...
He suggested for me to stay with them...
This lead to that night...
The night before my sister's wedding...
The night I went to bed early...
My sister that was excited was still awake...
She saw something from the outside...
A wild human-like beast, ricking of blood, hungry eyes...
A demon...
But instead of running...
She came and woke me up and sent me forward the village for help...
A help that was late...
A help that was no longer needed...
By the time I returned with others...
She wasn't there fully...
Parts of her were gone...
Almost as if she was eaten...
Then it started again...
Cursed child...
Bad fortune...
Sin of humanity...
A witch...
A murderer of sister...
Family killer...
