Eireen Lucas is a Grade-A Memory Archivist who works at the Bureau of Neural Affairs, a government agency that helps people forget their past. Her job is to legally erase people's painful memories using a new technology called Memory Neural Editing.
When Eireen is assigned to a high-profile case, she meets Rafael Villanueva, a guy who wants to forget what happened in a car accident. Rafe is a Sound Engineer who records the voices and moments of his clients to preserve memories.
Eireen has never failed at her work, and she is confident that Rafe's case will be solved swiftly. But when the MNE Eireen uses on Rafe malfunctions, all the memories of her sister are transferred into Rafe's mind for five seconds, making everything between them fall apart.
